cutting 3v ldo line generates 3v ldo all the time.
injecting 3v 5a in OCP mode does draw only small current less than 0.01amps.no short is displaying.
cutting Ldo line.
impedence of the end close to the 3v ic=444
impedence of the other end=70

Dell inspiron 3168 (15299-2) no power
Dell inspiron 3168 (Board no=15299-2) no power with battery and charger.No charging.
But after removing battery, worked perfectly.
next day again no power.Then check 19v section.section ok.mosfet driving perfectly.
But 3v LDO was not generated.Then i checked the enable signal of the ic.It is perfect according to datasheet.Then i checked the impedence.It is perfect(444).So i replaced the 3v ic.Then worked.
Again next day, same issue.then i decided to disconnect the ldo line by cutting the path.After that LDO generated well.Then again connecting... -

All voltages ok
All power good signals ok
Replaced ram, DDR ram reset ok.
No caps lock, Num lock lighting and no display to external monitor
Flashed bios.
Reflow processor.
Same issue.No display.Any technical idea would be highly appreciated.

This is not perfect requirement to charging ic to work.There are mainly 2 issues.
1.First check PR8929 and pR8924 resistor values seperately.it shold be around 127k and 20k.Definetely one should be leaking.After replacing check the ACDET.it should be around 2.6v.
2.Then the second issue is your charging ic.your charging ic is also faulty.REGN should be 6v sharply.so replace it with BQ24780s charging ic.

In this 8th generation platform, the charging ic SN2867RUYR should have a working condition of 24 pin REGN voltage, pin 6 ACDET and pin 5 ACOK.Then the gate driven mosfet voltage should be around 25v.so if above condition not met, replace the charging ic.Leave a comment:

VCCIO=18 ohms (impedence=0.040V)
VCCGT=13 ohms (impedence=0.032V)
1.2vs without ram=470 ohms (impedence =0.213V)

Asus X556U FAN spinning fully fast and no display.All the volateges except VCCGT generates and all the signals are perfect.
Please help me to diable inbuilt ram and inbuilt graphics chip.
