Re: lg 32lg3000 white screen faint picture
Check for fuses on the tcon and clean the connectors tcon to panel.
Perhaps a picture of the faded picture would help. Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: lg 32lg3000 white screen faint picture
This could be a bad panel. Not 100%, but we have seen faint dark picture indicate a bad panel before. It is sometimes fixable. The only board that could cause this in my opinion would be the T-con, but you have replaced that. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Re: lg 32lg3000 white screen faint picture
The AV board could only produce this effect if the contrast etc. were set wrong but usually the menus/OSD are always visible even with wrong contrast. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: lg 32lg3000 white screen faint picture
There are sometimes places on the tcon where you can check voltages marked like c5v c3v and so on also if there is a fuse on the tcon that is usually on the feed from the main board so you could check the voltage on that. Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: lg 32lg3000 white screen faint picture
It would be very unusual for a main board to cause that distortion.
It is likely the panel, it may be repairable. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: lg 32lg3000 white screen faint picture
The fuse is at F1 - when you have it connected you can test the voltage. Cant see any marked voltage test points. I think they are all together just above the processor but the label doesnt have any values. Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: lg 32lg3000 white screen faint picture
He is getting some picture, so it cannot be the fuse.
It could be low 12V/5V applied to T-con, would be unusual but it might be possible...Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

by MgiffuneI have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.
I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and... -
by Ryan.manHello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
by EazyBoneAnother TV topic!!
I got this sharp TV that when I first plugged it in it showed the sharp logo and then went to the input screen. This was about 30 seconds and then it showed white screen. Now I can't see anything but white screen. This has a separate TCON and Main.
The TCON is getting 12V and several parts are as well but the VGH line is only .5Volts which I thought is totally incorrect.
Am I on the correct assumption that the TCON is bad somehow if I'm only getting that voltage or is there something else I should check?... -
