    Sharp LC-65Q620U White Screen

    Another TV topic!!
I got this sharp TV that when I first plugged it in it showed the sharp logo and then went to the input screen. This was about 30 seconds and then it showed white screen. Now I can't see anything but white screen. This has a separate TCON and Main.

The TCON is getting 12V and several parts are as well but the VGH line is only .5Volts which I thought is totally incorrect.

Am I on the correct assumption that the TCON is bad somehow if I'm only getting that voltage or is there something else I should check?

And this is why I come here. Pulled 3/4 ribbon VGH back to 30v. Now can see some sort of damage occured on the panel. It's a tosser. Thx diah, sometimes I forget to do certain tests I always do .

showing source then went to white are sign of BGA at the Soc.
to be more sure of this possibility , test the panel / T-con as stand alone, or half screen via ribbon... or 3/4 screen via the U ribbon cable

Good idea. I forgot to mention that it no longer shows input then white, it only shows white now. The TV sat for a long time and when I got it, worked for the 30 seconds and now always white screen. But I'll report findings
