.335
L
I put a new one in its place. One from NTE. 89 cents only.
There are several smd diodes on the foil side of this board at and near the ICs tested. All but one test L and .5XX-.6XX. One tests .524 & 1.89 (D1692 red arrow picture). On the component side of the board there are more and they all test out .5xx & L.

I guess I should pull that smd and check it off board? Looking this weekend for some junk board to practice on removing and soldering smds. Looks kinda ez on youtube.
I read these can be tested on board but I can't find anything about if there is a short will it cause the later smd diode to give that kind of a reading, as in current going around it?, or if that diode is the bad shorted component. I'm guessing/hoping the later.Comment

Re: Sanyo DP26746 LCD TV-sound,no picture, lamps are on.
I never seen a multimeter just display "L" for out of range. The most common is "0L" and if you have a radioshack model, it might be "0F". Getting these things correct is important because we cannot see what you are reading.
D1692 is good. Depending on your multimeter, some of them don't display "0L" until the voltage is > 2V or 3V. 1.89 is "close enough" to 0L.--- begin sig file ---

It displays 'l' , I just assumed it was an 'L' and didn't want 'l' to be mistaken for '1'.
If D1692 is good then I'm back at square one with the possibly shorted @ shottky diodeComment

I have been searching for this service manual. Any chance you could send it to me? It would be extremely helpful right now.
Thank you

Re: Sanyo DP26746 LCD TV-sound,no picture, lamps are on.
i have the same issue with this same exact tv. i dont have any idea what the voltages are suppose to be from the power board. any ideas. i pulled those 2 820uF capacitors because mine were also a little bulged and they are about 50uF - 100uF too low. not sure if that's a big deal though. also i have checked all of the diodes and they seem to be ok.Comment

by x_orange90_xJust bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...

by advantThis thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.
I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match... -
by HakuuHi There,
This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.
After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

by alltvrepairsHi,
i have a 65 Panasonic TX-65HX710E using vestel 17MB170 main and Lg tcon.
Few drops of water fell probably near COF and have no display. Tried removing tabs but no.part of display present as if tcon fuse open. However 12v is present and tcon can be felt warm enough that supplies are present. Backlight and sound ok.
Anyone knows if this TCon 6870c-0805A has any special test pins for rgb test?
Appreciate your help....2 Photos -
by angelosHi Guys.
I have experienced something rather unique and need to find out by the forum what to make of it.
I got in this set, a JVC or Telefunken LED TV whose complaint is that sometimes the set comes up blank with the back lights running. So I switched on and yes there was a blank screen and back lights were running. I checked the fuse on the TCON and sometime later I lifted the set off the table to check the image (the TV has no feet to let it stand upright) and noticed the set was cycling red, green blue, test pattern, blank then all over again doing this. Suddenly the no signal... - Loading...
