    Rca hd61w66 tv

Ok first wanted to say thank you for all the previous help I received with Plasma TV questions.

Now a few weeks ago some one threw out a RCA 61" rear projection TV model number HD61W66

    TV looks like this

What was wrong was the coaxial connector for the cable box wire hook up was broken. Probably somebody's foot got caught on the cable wire and pulled the wire so hard it broke the connector.

Now what I did was order this

I installed it but it is loose. It works but I am not satisfied.

What I would like to do is replace the Tuner module. I believe it is made by Thomson

    It looks like this

The tuner board is this one

I have searched and searched but can not find the tuner module.

Does anyone know where I can find these and a part number also

Hi - Please can you update your profile with Country and Mains Voltage. It helps a lot when asking where to obtain parts. We also ask that pictures are not posted in line but
added using manage attachments which is found by "going advanced" under quick reply.
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

RCA small signal board AS222-710 DUO

The other picture is just so there is no confusion as to what part I am looking for

i have no idea what it is worth, make an offer? you can have both if you want them i just have to desolder them from the boards. they are out of a 60 but dont think that matters. they are from the 222a chassis, rca.

I fixed a lot of these broken COAX jack in VCR/TV, if you have good 60watts Iron and flux, you can solder the body of the jack to the chassis of the tuner. You have to be real good at soldering or you will melt the insulator in side the connector.
Or you can use this: http://www.mmwavetech.com/shop.net/p...name=MW-819-DD
What you do is to get the nut for this F connector and solder the nut to the chassis and then screw in the new connector deep enough to solder the center tab to the PCB, the use LOKTITE and washer to fill the gap.
You can get the jack from MCM, or shop around.

i have both tuners removed and all looks good, no burned insulators or connections, if you want them make offer. the cpu was bad in the set it would not pass diag. wasnt worth spending money on, to me. a good ssb board was about 75.00.i don't even like opening projection tv's anymore.
