I hope I don't have two issues here.
I'm uploading another video as I write this.
I will have to make a shorter video, it was to big.

I'm wondering if I don't have the same issue as in this video, tab bonding issue:

That's what it reminded me of. It's worth trying if you can get access to the LCD panel. Sometimes it's difficult.

It could also be T-con, since a missing waveform causes both problems, but with tab bonding issues it is because the tab physically separates but T-con simply doesn't send the data, so the effect is similar. The digital noise and jumping on the other hand doesn't look like tab bonding.

Actually I haven't tried the LVDS cable yet, just the four ribbon ones.
    I'm waiting on a D5 cleaner.
Thanks for the great ideas, I will try them out.
Sound stays the same, not changing at all.

In addition to the ribbons going to the T-con, there are usually ribbons going from T-con to the LCD. See if you can get access to them and reseat them.

The characteristic glowing and blurring of the screen "looks" like a T-con issue, but the loss of the vertical sync makes me think main board problem! Does the sound go when it freezes? The fact that it gets worse as it warms up seems to me like a BGA problem - you can thank lead free solder for that. Try applying some light pressure to each of the large processors on the main board and T-con. If that fails to change the results, use a hairdryer to heat up the boards until the fault occurs, then shut down the TV (leave it to cool down), then when it powers up heat the component again and see if the fault occurs immediately.

To reduce the appearance scratches on the screen you can try cleaning it with a soft moist cloth but mostly it's not repairable.

After having the mishap with the flex cable, replaced the blown fuse F2 and the TV is back.
I have watched the TV with signal and the screen shows all kinds of things.
What do you see in my first post clears out, center has a darker spot which stays. Picture becomes horizontally sliced in like three, some of these freezing the image, some flicker.
Some times I have very good picture, specially the right side, the left is darker and the moving image is very slow.
If I restart the TV after a while the screen is mostly green, but it's keep changing.
I'm still waiting on that cleaner spray, I should have it by Tuesday.
I have a filling that the T-con is bad.
Tomorrow I will take some measurement on the regulators.

I use Detoxit for cleaning the connectors between the panel and the T-CON, works real well.

Ive never seen a dirty ribbon cable, but the commonly recomended trick is to use a pencil eraser to erase / clean the metal pads at the end of the cable. Not really any trick to it, but just be soft, and make sure all the eraser lint is off before reinserting. Im not sure why a pencil eraser is recomended over rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab.

Having the cable ever so slightly missaligned can easily screw up the picture though, sometimes ive had to retry inserting the cable 3 times to get them to work properly. Usually half the screen is handled by 1 cable, and the other half by the other cable, so usually when you dont have them in properly only half the screen is affected.

In your pictures theres 2 effects that are noticeable, but i think one might just be from your camera angle. Is the tv just having the black lines that end around the middle of the screen, or are you also getting a curvy set of lines through out the middle (cause that might be just from the camera angle).

The 3.1V, 5V and 12V are all there. The 24V I haven't found it yet because there are two inverter transformers build into the power supply(there are a bunch of small ones on the master and on the slave boards).
Thank you for helping. To get to the panel's connector, I have to take the whole TV apart, very bad design.
I have never heard about cleaning the connector pins, could you elaborate on that please?

Re: Vizio VW42LHDTV10A horizontal lines on the left side

3 things that might be the cause

    1) bad t-con
    2) loose / dirty / missaligned ribbon cables from the t-con to the panel, im sure someone has a guide on how to clean them with a pencil eraser on this site
    3) tab bonding on the screen, try placing light pressure every 3 inches or so around the edge of the screen and see if any of them change the picture (this is least likely based on what the pics show)

you might want to also test the output voltages from the power supply just for the hell of it, since thats really easy.

    Sorry its a VW46LFDTV10a.
I have just picked up this TV in the rain and I haven't had time to really look at it, the screen has some scratches, but that it's another issue. By the way there is a method of reducing the visibility of scratches on a screen?
I was told that it takes like 30 minutes until I see a picture, but when I have tried it at home it just started right away and it showed some horizontal likes mostly on the left side and with video signal it looks like it's very slow that side and I believe that it's called ghosting when do you see a trail of a moving object.
It could be a bad T-con board?

Vizio V585-J01 dancing lines and image doubling
    by x_orange90_x
I got this tv yesterday and it shows a screen full of colored vertical bars and horizontal lines that move, change, and dance around. When the set is powered on there is a slight buzz from the tcon. I removed one ribbon at a time and this was the result:

Right side connected, left side disconnected = half image on right (somewhat distorted, see photo attached) white screen on left. NO buzzing from TCON

Left side connected, right side disconnected = right side black, left side white with distorted horizontal lines near top of screen. Buzzing from TCON

    I swapped...

A2442 MacBook Pro 14" Two Left SIDE USB C ports charge but no data
    by Stephen
Right SIDE usb.c port charges and transfers data without issue, two left side uSB c ports charge but do not receive or see data. Was liquid damaged, and repaired significantly and thought we were in the clear but appears this is the last issue that is rearing its head. I am trying to locate the RETIMER chip that communicates the DATA TX/RX but I cannot seem to find it on the schematic or maybe I am just so tired my eyes wore out lol. Any help would be great.

LG 82UN8570AUD ~ TCON or PANEL?
    by kca
    Hello all ~

Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.

When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.

I got the display to work by taping off several traces of the right-hand side ribbon cable on the TCON that leads from TCON to PANEL. However, despite dozens and dozens of attempts to find the right combination / range of traces taped...

    Vizio M60-C3 Left Edge problem
    by Pinky Deepak
I have a M60-C3 where the left edge has started showing issues as seen in the picture attached. Along with this, I also noticed some darkening on the left half of the screen which went away after I left the TV unplugged. i initially thought it was the led backlight that was wearing out but looks like something to do w the TCONN board. I searched this forum but couldn't find anyone else seeing this issue. most of them were LH/RH completely gone. any insights or guidance is appreciated.

Here's a video of both the issues: https://youtu.be/hMqc760nB3o
