I have a TCL Roku 55S403TCAA. It quit working after a storm. Other electronics quit working as well so I am pretty sure the storm had something to do with it. Anyway, I took a look at it, no obvious damage, blown components, scorch marks, etc. I am looking at the power board first, 40-L141H4-PWG1CG. I've repaired bad caps and blown components but nothing more extensive beyond that. I am trying to troubleshoot it, but I can't even find the fuse on this board. There are markings on the PCB saying "replace fuse as marking" however. I attached a photo of the board. I am also testing the pins but I can't find the standby pin. I don't know if it has a different marking on this board. There are two connectors and the only labels the pins have are GND, 12v, NC, P_DIM, BL_ON, P_ON, A_DIM, and then several LED pins. I'm not sure what to do since I thought every board had those. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Re: TCL Roku 55S403TCAA dead after storm
Usually fuse is right by the AC plug. Maybe I'm not familiar with what this type of fuse looks like. Maybe on bottom ? It says it on the board. And lightning can also run up the HDMI inputs also so main board could be damaged also. Check around HDMI connectors for shorts as well (if that was a possibility)
Edit, that disc may be the fuse actually but not sureLast edited by EazyBone; 11-19-2023, 05:18 PM.
