Samsung "MU" series (UN, UA, UExxMUxxxx) fault dump IC1604 25Q40...
Hello Lolas
Thanks a lot for the softwares. I will test them tomorow and will inform you if it is ok
Hello Lotas,
I used Asprogrammer and followed the instructions in this thread in post #4.
It's impossible to put a check mark on QE (SREG Edit). Despite this issue, the tv work again. Thank a lot for your fix in my firmware, you are the best
I have an another TV samsung UE55RU7025K, mainboard BN41-02703A, it don't turn on anymore but i have the standby light.
The power board seems ok because if I disconnect the cable with the mainboard and then plug it into the socket, the backlight comes on.
I copy the firmware of ic1604 (W25Q40CL) with a CH431A usb
Dear Lotas, would you please take a look at this and fix it for me please?
Here are the programs, instructions in this thread in post #4.

Your dump seems to be ok. Try these two working dumps for your motherboard.

Thank you Lotas for the dumps for my motherboard.
I try them but the TV doesn't work. I have only the standby light like with the the original dump.
I copy the firmwares of ics W25Q80DV and 24C512 with a CH341A usb
Dear Lotas, would you please take a look at theses dumps and say me if it is OK?
I read that the W25Q80DV is for TCON and Panel. But i don't know the use of 24C512? Do you have an idea?
It's more likely a problem in the eMMC firmware, or there is no voltage on the dc / dc converters or broken hdmi inputs ..., you tried to disconnect the LVDS cable and turn it on.

Yes, i tried to disconnect the LVDS cable and turn it on. But, nothing happens only the red light of standby which stay lit. Do you know how to update the eMMC? Do you have read the dump of 24C512? it is amazing there is a lot of FFF and 00000 in the top of the lines. It is possible to find a schematics where i could check some voltages? Thanks Ă lot for your help

Hello Lotas,
Thank you for the dump eeprom 24C512. So, the 24C512 is not the problem for my TV. Probably the 25Q80 or the eMMC is faulty. I want to put another dump in the 25Q80. Is the same way to write the dump for 25Q40? May i put the registers? Do you know if someone who has this dump?
Thanks a lot
Dears,
I have a Samsung 55MU6102 with no stand-by light. In order to not bother you with my problem, I downloaded many dumps of the IC1604, and I have written the memory with it.
So far I got only to have red light on the st-by led, but the TV don't want to start.
As long as I cannot figure how to fix the original dump of the IC1604, I would like to ask you if you can help me to fix it.
Please excuse me if my English is not so good.

It is necessary to lay out the original, native dump, if you have not saved it and have already written other dumps to it, then this will be a problem.
I tested and it works. Thank you very much. The only thing that not correct was protect SREG1 need to be 88 and only 8A. So i tested and tv starts again can it be like SREG1 8A?
My UN65MU6300FXZC is dead and the standby LED stays off. The power supply is good. The main board is BN94-12434A.
Disconnecting the main board from the power supply makes the backlight come ON.
I did disconnect the panel cables and the WIFI modules, the board is still dead.
I did read in many posts that IC1604 25Q40 becomes corrupted. It has proper 3.3 volt on VCC pin 8. I did read that if I post its dump here someone can fix it. Is that right?
Hello, I need a dump of the BIOS_WHP1 /25Q40/, EC controller chip /NTC6686D/. The motherboard is coming for repair after a another service, what is in the dump that I downloaded is the beginning of the MAIN BIOS, according to the analysis that I did based on the documentation of the EC controller NTC6686D, the content should be different. BIOS_WHP1 /25Q40/ is connected directly to SCE1#, SO1, SI1, SCK1 pins 66, 68, 67, 69 of the NTC6686D
A co-worker gave me a 55-inch Samsung TV model UN55MU6103F so I can try to fix the following problem... As soon as I plug it in to the wall, the TV turns on, and the display shows a few stripes all over the screen. I took off the back cover and disconnected both ribbon cables that go to the display (one at a time) so by doing that I can narrow down the bad section of the problem, but in both cases the display turns black. I know there are some voltages that I have to check (VGH, VGL, etc.) but don't know what reading each has to show. If anyone could guide me on this,...
Could you help me...
I have a Samsung UE55MU6102K with the following problem : I disconnect the motherboard from main power supply from and the backlight leds light up.
Then motherboard connected, standby led is on and current consuption is 18W.
Then trying to start the TV, the standby led is blinking once but TV don't start and standby led stay red.
Maybe the firmware in the IC SPI Flash W25Q40CL (IC1604) is corrupted.
The model of my TV is :
Power supply BN44-00807A
Main Board BN41-02568B / BN94-12765W
Panel CY-GM055HGLV3H...
Hi everyone,
I've got a Samsung UEMU6199U which has no Standby LED and no reaction if try turning it on.
Voltages on the power supply board is okay. Backlight test is also okay.
I read about a corrupt firmware on IC1604 on some models, did a dump of this IC and turns out: First sectors are empty.
So I think my TV has exactly this issue.
Can someone please fix the dump?
And how do you do that?
As I understand you fill in the empty sectors and leave the rest as it is. But where do you get the "information" of what you...
