After writing the dump, did you set and write the status register (0x88, 0x42)?

This is not the dump you posted, this dump is W25Q80DV (IC1603) - T-CON, but W25Q40CL (IC1604) is needed!

hi, I have a tvUE55MU6500U main BN41-02568B BN94-12394N the screen remains black and the TV restarts if I disconnect the panel flats the TV works, with a new main the TV can be seen well so the panel is ok.

I tried to modify the original file with the procedure described with AsProgrammer_2.1.0.13_fix but the TV still doesn't start, maybe I made a mistake?

This dump is working for you, the problem is different.

When I plug the cable the leds turn on and off. If I disconect the Mainboard the leds keep on.

I was trying to fix and I already programed the bios chip using the programmer tl866ii, but no luck.

Browsing a lot I found this post and I beg you to clear my bin file please.

In addition I want to point that my file is 1024 kbytes Long, but to my surprise the files that the People have uploaded in this topic is half the size. I thought that maybe the chip was touch but ir wasnt. The solder points were old as the other in the board.

If you please clear my file I am going to try the options as describe in post # 4

You posted a dump from T-Con, it is responsible for the panel settings - this chip is IC1603 25Q80 (1024k), but you need IC1604 25Q40 (512k) it is responsible for the standby mode, if you saved the dump from 25Q80, put it back and post it from 25Q40!

UN65MU6300FXZC, no standby LED but power supply good. Bad IC1604 25Q40?

Hi all,

My UN65MU6300FXZC is dead and the standby LED stays off. The power supply is good. The main board is BN94-12434A.

Disconnecting the main board from the power supply makes the backlight come ON.

I did disconnect the panel cables and the WIFI modules, the board is still dead.

I did read in many posts that IC1604 25Q40 becomes corrupted. It has proper 3.3 volt on VCC pin 8. I did read that if I post its dump here someone can fix it. Is that right?

The motherboard is coming for repair after a another service, what is in the dump that I downloaded is the beginning of the MAIN BIOS, according to the analysis that I did based on the documentation of the EC controller NTC6686D, the content should be different. Samsung UN55MU6103F video problem; has colored stripes on the display

Hello, everyone!

A co-worker gave me a 55-inch Samsung TV model UN55MU6103F so I can try to fix the following problem... As soon as I plug it in to the wall, the TV turns on, and the display shows a few stripes all over the screen. I took off the back cover and disconnected both ribbon cables that go to the display (one at a time) so by doing that I can narrow down the bad section of the problem, but in both cases the display turns black. I know there are some voltages that I have to check (VGH, VGL, etc.) but don't know what reading each has to show. If anyone could guide me on this,...

Samsung UE55MU6102K IC1604 dump needed - TV don't start

Could you help me...
I have a Samsung UE55MU6102K with the following problem : I disconnect the motherboard from main power supply from and the backlight leds light up.
Then motherboard connected, standby led is on and current consuption is 18W.
Then trying to start the TV, the standby led is blinking once but TV don't start and standby led stay red.

Maybe the firmware in the IC SPI Flash W25Q40CL (IC1604) is corrupted.

The model of my TV is :

Samsung UEMU6199U - no Standby - bad Firmware?

Hi everyone,
I've got a Samsung UEMU6199U which has no Standby LED and no reaction if try turning it on.
Voltages on the power supply board is okay. Backlight test is also okay.

I read about a corrupt firmware on IC1604 on some models, did a dump of this IC and turns out: First sectors are empty.
So I think my TV has exactly this issue.

Can someone please fix the dump?

And how do you do that?

As I understand you fill in the empty sectors and leave the rest as it is. But where do you get the "information" of what you...
