basically pin 8 and 13 are driving Q3 and Q4. Then it goes through tranformer t2 and drive the big transistors Q1 and Q2. It continues through transformer T1 and then all gets rectified on the secondary (low voltage side).Comment

I looked at the circuit, q3 and q4 are the transistors that I have already replaced so they are new I saw that nearby there are capacitors that I have already replaced and diodes but they are all good, the visible resistances are goodComment

r11 and r12 are good too? check the winding on the transformer and if all checks out ok, we have to go to the next stage.Comment

check again Vcc on pin 12 on the KA7500, and then measure each voltage rail, while turning the PSU on and off again on each rail. I am looking to see if the PSU actually tries to come on but is getting held back or something is open. I am looking for minimal voltages on any of the output rails -12V, +12V, -5V, +5V and 3.3V.Comment

I did the tests you asked me, I have no output voltage except for the 5v standby, nothing on -12 +12 -5 +5 +3.3, on pin 12 I always have about 16.50, I have a equal power supply working and I saw that on pin 12 we have more than 18 voltsLast edited by falcontech; 04-17-2020, 05:33 AM.Comment

In a while I try to invert the two heatsinks with all the components even if they don't give me any short problem. I also eliminate this doubt.Comment

Hi Caps I solved, it was those two resistances that I highlighted on the photo, looking at the working power supply I noticed that they were different, someone before me had replaced them by mistaking the value ... all ok thanks now I have to repair another one, there we hear on another thread THANK YOUAttached FilesComment

Hi guys, I’m back here my friend give me her tv, that doesn’t turn on and no standby red led. When u plug in the cord the red led of one two second is on, then turn off. If you push the power button or the remote the red led blinks but nothing happen. I give u some photo with voltage, don’t look the fuse….because I blow it for mistake nd I dint have the right replace so I just put it for test the tv. The standby voltage should be 11,88 volt on the diode, but I have 13 volts. I put in the photo the different volts I test and there are someone negative…I don’t know if it s normal. On... -

Hello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. So i thought maybe lcd stripe is faulty, i removed the bottom cover, disconnected main battery, reset the cmos by disconnecting battery for 1 min, then slighty move the lcd stripe. Conncted power supply and tuned on my laptop, the lcd turn on, it started to load os, then it turn off, after a second it turn on, then after like 3 seconds turn off again, and so on. My Samsung LN32B540 never turned back on after I had to turn off the power at the mains at house. It won't turn on, but the red standby led lights up when it is plugged in. If I hold down the power on the remote, the standby light turns off which I think means it is trying to turn on, but there's no sound or backlight. If I try to turn it on/off from the power button on the TV instead, it doesn't do anything at all.
It was plugged into a surge suppressor and was off (on standby) when I turned off the power,, so I don't know if it got a power surge or was on its way out anyway. I... -
Hello,
I need advice in troubleshooting Telefunken TV (it is actually Vestel). There is red Standby light but TV cannot be turned on either by remote control (which is good and tested on another TV) or by actual on/off switch at the back of the TV.
Power board is Vestel 17IPS71 and I'm not sure about the mainboard, it seems like 17MB82S
Both boards are shown in the attached photos.
What is normally first that is checked in this case. I have removed power board, make sure it has no dangerous voltage on the big caps and check many components (transistors and diodes)...
