Hi,
Need some general advice,
I have a SF-650R14HE that has the following issue.
1/ When the PC is not under any sort of load, the PC will randomly shutdown. If I try to power it back on the PC will not power up. LED on the motherboard stays lit at all times.
I have to unplug the PSU, let sit for a few moments, then the PC will power back on when I press the power button.
2/ When the PC is on, it will randomly reboot, usually a PC shutdown occurs first, but sometimes a reboot occurs before the random shutdown.
What I have done.
1/ The PSU is not particularily clogged up.
2/ Ive replaced some caps that I though may be the issue but the problem persists, to be precise I replaced
2 x 3000uF 10v
1 x 2700uF 10v
2 x 3000uF 16v
1 x 330uF(M) 400v
Measuring all the rails independantly (3.3/5v/12+- etc) all readings seem normal.
What else should I be looking at to see what is causing these issues ?
I know its not a motherboard issue as replacing the PSU resolves the shutdown/reboot problems.
Any input would be appreciated !
