I usually take Capacitor from another board, if you dont know how to check the capacity of capacitor, you can take it from same area on the board, for test you can turn on your motherboard and ignore broke capacitor, I don't think it will make much of a difference for the time being, until we make sure the machine is running normally, if you want to replace the capacitor then that's better....Leave a comment:

Asus X415EA Auto start when shutdown ( Laptop cannot shutdown with baterai only )
I have problem with my laptop, with code board X415EA 2.0,
laptop cannot shutdown with baterai only, if i plug the adaptor, laptop can shutdown, but when the adaptor was unplug, laptop wake up
I did :
1. Flash Bios
2. RTC_RST 3.3V
3. LID_SW 3.3V
4. WLAN_WAKE# 3.3V -

Asus X513UA touchpad not working after Flash Bios
Hello, I have a problem with my laptop,
Before my laptop had no display, then I tried to flash and restore my Serial Number from old BIOS; my laptop can display, but the touchpad doesn't work,
I tried to update bios from Ez Flash but still it doesn't work,
this my old BIOS

Oke, let me help you, but one point you must know, if you want to work on your mainboard, you must have some tools, like a multimeter to tell us any voltage in your motherboard, if you have, then tell me with your data about voltage in your motherboard, and make sure the bios version youre flashback is support with your procerssor generationLeave a comment:

i think you're new in this job, let me correct, that component you point is not resistor, that is capasitor, they filtering main power 12V before enter into ic, you can open the boardview
you can remove that capasitor was broke, or replace it if you have, and dont forget make sure doesnt short in that way after your remove or replace capacitor,...Leave a comment:
