Which connection looks best and more stable

Obviously the ceramic connectors will be more expensive which is not a real issue, i am simply looking for the best connection

The ceramics do take up a bit of room compared to the other connector as well

The one with the least contact resistance, safest, meet compliance requirement. How much current will be flowing through the circuit? Any compliance and inspection required?

We are trying to meet UL/ CSA requirements but we are not going for inspection

It will have 110v per line ie; 220v at approximately 2 to 3 amps

          different tools for different jobs,
ceramics are for high temperature stuff - used with heatproof wire obviously.
halogen lights are a good example.

A soldered connection is always superior to screw terminals, for vibration and temperature, resistance, corrosion etc. but is more work.
Usually the heatshrink is CSA/UL rated for 300V, or a final wrap of electrician's tape (one layer per 300V minimum) is good. You can buy thickwall heatshrink comes/with hot glue inside, for a totally waterproof seal. If this is a high temp >105C application then special heatshrink is prob. needed.

P.S. - I hope you aren't using green wire for power. That would be trouble.
I had a colorblind electrician wire up a motor starter panel. He confused red and green, so he connected one-phase of 480V to chassis, and I caught his mistake but it would have been bad.

Lithium 12v tool battery charger... no negative connection?
                by budwich
I have a drill and battery but no charger so I bought a "universal charger" 120ac in ... 12vdc out (not really universal in lithium world). Anyway it has three contacts, positive, negative and "T" (temperature sensor). I connected those contacts to the contacts on the battery. No charging happened and only the status light is on (green solid) which the label indicates "100% charged".... but the battery isn't near that at around 9v and dying. There doesn't appear to be any difference whether the battery is connected or not. I got suspicious and pulled the...

Legion t 5 front audio panel connection problem
                by Demetrio87
Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me solve my problem, I have the case of a legion t5 where I have installed an asus tuf gamig a520m-plus motherboard, the audio connection cable on the case is an F_audio connector with 14 PIN , on my new motherboard the connector is a 10-pin AAFP, I saw that there are adapters on sale but at the moment I have no way of having them available in a short time, I made several attempts and managed to listen from the front headphones, only that there are some problems, the headphones are only detected if the microphone is connected, I definitely got confused with...

MacBook Air A2337 (820-02016) - 5V, won't turn on - please help me understand why
                by mkdj
                Hello everyone,

About me, my goal and the equipment I (don't) have:
I am brand new to this forum, and I am eager to learn about repairing laptops. I have an engineer background although I haven't done electronics for a while. I have watched several Youtube videos in the last two months, trying to understand how to diagnose a faulty motherboard. I have a USB-C Amp meter and a classic multi meter. No DC Power Supply to inject voltage, no soldering iron to replace components.

About my issue and my goal:
A friend of mine has a MacBook Air M1 A2337 that does not...

Inno 3d RTX2070 not detected - no I²C connection
                by Nikan.e
                Greetings and Salutations!

I have encountered a faulty GPU — an Inno3D RTX 2070 Twin. There was a shorted MOSFET on the Vcore rail.
The faulty DrMOS was removed, and the burned PCB area was milled away.
All voltages are now good, but the GPU is not being detected.

I found that the CS pin of the BIOS (GPU) is not being pulled low, and thus, the GPU isn't detected.
I wanted to measure the SM_Data and SM_Clock, but to my surprise, there is no connection at all.
I thought these pins were used for communication during startup?!?

                On all...

Synology MR2200ac mesh router, UART connection - login details?
                by spleenharvester
This particular unit powers up, LEDs behave normally, but broadcasts no SSID, will not mesh with any other routers. Plugging in an ethernet cable from a Windows laptop results in "unidentified network" with an autoconfigured IP address and no response to pinging 192.168.1.1.

I was able to log into serial/UART by connecting the 6-pin header to the GPIO on a Raspberry Pi Zero W (GND to GND, TxD to RxD, RxD to TxD, no connection between +3.3V as it is supplied on both sides) using Minicom, command:

                Code:
sudo minicom --baudrate 115200 --device /dev/ttyS0
                ...
