Thank you! Your solution seems viable, but when I try to flash it, I get a 'locked range' error.
    Code:
Error 167: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing Flash access
Please contact the target system BIOS vendor for an option to disable Protected Range Registers
Right now, I'm trying to resolve this without disassembling the device.

I had to perform a full backup using an SPI programmer. I made the same modifications as suggested by ali0robot. Thank you very much - it worked!
Attaching the full modified dump—might be useful for someone else.

Hi, my dear admins and members.
I have a huge amount of Dell PCs which I bought from a dead company. All the PCs are Autopilot-locked. The problem is they did not give me any invoice or bill. So, I need to unlock or bypass them all. If possible, could anyone tell me how to unlock or bypass these PCs? It would be a big help.

                          by SuperJames
This one's a weird one, and still unsolved despite it having gone back to Dell once.

                          Specs

i7-8750H, GTX 1060 Max Q, 500GB SSD & Seagate 7mm 1TB HDD. 17.3 IPS screen. This has the fingerprint reader in the power button.

                          Backstory

I bought this from eBay, from a wallpapering shop. £650 in 2020 which was a good price considering it's a gaming laptop. Physically it's in perfect shape, apart from the hinge mounts on the palmrest failing in the time I've had it (I have a new palmrest for it). The usual thin plastic crap modern build quality!...

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
                          by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

Dell Latitude 3510 Overheating & Fan Control Issue – Need Help

Dell Latitude 3510 (Intel Core i7-10510U) CPU Overheating

                          Issue Description:
                          1. CPU Overheating to 100°C
                            • When I start the laptop from a cold state, it takes about a minute to reach temps around 80-90-100°C, and CPU thermal throttling triggers.
                            • When the CPU fan is running at full speed (by disconnecting PWM and TACH cables), CPU temperature stays around 50-60°C.
                            • However, when the fan is connected normally to the motherboard, it does not kick in at high temperatures.
                            • I also noticed a few times that the fan kicked in for a very short time, but it does not stay on consistently.

                          Hi everyone,

I'm working on a Dell G15 5515 (Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3050 Ti) and recently installed a compatible 4-zone RGB keyboard and controller (for Dell G15 5510/5511/5515 models). While the keyboard functions for typing, the RGB lighting is not detected by Alienware Command Center (AWCC), which displays “No AlienFX devices found.”

                          What I've Tried So Far:
                          • Reseated the cables.
                          • Reinstalled AWCC and AlienFX services.
                          • Attempted BIOS downgrade but no improvement.
                          • Inspected ribbon cables for damage.
                          • Explored the possibility of BIOS or
