Dell Latitude 5500 EDC41 LA-G891P - Parts help
I was trying to remove bios password from my dell latitude 5400 by removing and programming BIOS chip and i accidentally blown away 1 part above the BIOS chip which i think is a resistor. I looked at boardview of it and i came to a part R_0201.
Can anyone help me figure which part should i order to fix it or will there be any workaround to run the laptop.

I tried this file. It did not worked for me. I will try another file posted above to see if it works.
Is there any easy way to read write wson8 chips?? Like any probe which can be used on dell laptops as bios chips on dell 7410 does not have legs to make contact with a probe. It is really hard to desolder and solder chip again and again....

I wrote the original file to the chip. It is booting fine. I think there is some issue with the patched file. Is there anything else you want me to try.

I am having the same issue with my laptops. I tried 2 laptops which were bio locked. I de-solder the bios chip on both, flashed them and then soldered them back. After that both the laptop are not turning ON, no activity.Amber light turns On when pressing power button. Can not figure out what could be the issue. On 1 laptop which is dell latitude 5400 i can see that i am missing a resistor near the bios chip. Don't know what to do next. On 2nd laptop which is 7410, i cannot see any missing part. Any guide on what can i try to fix those laptops.

Dell latitude 7410 GPU issue
I was trying to install windows on this laptop and it just stops in middle and the screen looks like this. I thought it could be an BIOS issues so i tried installing updated BIOS on it but every time it just goes like this.
I don't know what are the options i have to fix this.
I am new to all this. I have bought CH314a but don't know what to do next with it.
