Thank you, I found out that will be in groups of 4 but... do i have always look for the same 4 patterns or depends on the laptop will be different? How you know which patterns are the ones that you have to modify? (I saw other 32MB dump on previous page and I saw that they had 3 of the same Byte groups that end in AA changed to 00, but there was one pattern that I did not have in my BIOS.. is there a list or documentation of all the possible variants that need to be modified ?)
Thanks!Comment

it might be simple if you worked with it before, but is my first time playing around with bios dumps and flashing... I could only see certain patterns and not sure if the patterns repeat with the type of chip or not.
I did read the post but all the references to my model are towards a program that could patch it, it does not have any information or I could not find any information of why we choose those patterns and why we replace them like that. I am sure I can download other ones and replicate them, but my goal was learn, that's why I made the questions. Sorry if that bothered you.
I have couple more laptops and will practice with those, thanks for the help.

Hello,
I broke the chip of the BIOS that you modified when trying to solder it back,
I have other Latitude 5400s and I could follow and replace the 00 FC AA and 00 FD AA Patterns, I have flashed the modified BIOS but the screen will keep black and booting constantly... I tried to press F1 during boot and also pressing F2 during the boot but the screen will not turn back on... There is no signs of POST or any screen output at all... I can only hear the fans going on and then the computer will power off by itself after 30 seconds.
Does this mean that I did modified the bios in a wrong way or that the BIOS file got corrupted while flashing ? Or is there any other step that I am missing in between?
EDIT: Forgot to mention that ignored when the 00FDAA patterns looked like this for example:
7EB26400 FDAA3F82 . Is that right? Also, what would be the start and end of the 0xXXXXXXX to start and end modifying this patterns? I think that could be the main problem that I am facing.
Thanks.

by jhanraHi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...-

by TripTopHi
i have dell latitude E7270 with following symptoms:
- takes long time to restart.
- sometimes powers on and then off
- sometimes while working it just dies,
From googling online bios clean could possible resolve this?
i was able to save bios and was going to try bios clean myself but get an below error when i drop it in ME analyzer.(unsure whether this sometimes occurs or could be due to bad/corrupt bios)
As ME analyzer gave me an error i just decided to write bios with a cleaned bios from E7270 bios post.
I reinstall...-

by DavidChuncoHi, I hope someone can help me with this, my Dell G15 Ryzen Edition does not post anymore (black screen, no Windows boot, no BIOS screen) after Windows Update pushed what appears to be a buggy bios image, I've tried the following with no success:
- Receive help from Dell Support (it is out of warranty).
- Disconnect machine from AC power and battery overnight.
- BIOS recovery process
- Connected external display via HDMI
- Disassembled machine and found bios chip, its a Gigadevice 25LR128DSIG (GD25LR128DSIG), at first I tried to get it detected by CH341A (with...-
