Dell Latitude 5431 issues with dumping bios

So, i kinda spend significant ammount of the last couple of days trying to flash a new bios, and or unlocking the current bios password with little to no results.
The whole thing started with it being the 8fc8 bios, i found the tools to unlock that but i needed a bios dump. So i pursued that, im at a point where i dessoudered the chip, and succesfully soudered it to the ch341, dumped whatever was on it.
However, the tools supposed to unlock the 8fc8 say that there is no 8fc8 hex inside. And when i followed diffrent tutorials to just flash a new bios onto the chip i got stuck on the step when you need to find the exact line on the new bios that your old bios starts with.
That prompted me to go down google/forums rabbit hole of searching and trying diffrent things, UEFItool says that this bin may be corrupted, i got lost in tabs i opened in the browser and i relised that in fact i was out of my depth like couple of hours ago.
it all kind led me to belive that the bios dump that i have is either corupted, im not reading it correctly, both, or neither and i in fact have no idea what im talking about.

It would be ideal if i could have the opportunity to actually understand the proccess and what and where i did wrong.
Does anyone have any idea if that dump is in fact correct and intact or am i missing something obvious.

    Laptop Dell Latitude 5431
    service tag DK55WV3
Laptop was booting before dissasembly with no obvious flaws, other then being blocked by that password.

Chip is i belive winbond 25r128jvsn

I was using NEOProgrammer to read the IC, bin in the attachment.

Clues and help would be appriciated,

There are 2 bios chips, the code is split across both. The one with the pass is 8MB , go find that chip it`s the one next to the rabbit hole

Yes, there is no 8FC8 hex code in the file you posted, that chip only contains Me region, read the 32MB chip.

The second chip i have out is 8mb and i can't seem to locate another one on the motherboard that looks the part.
This one also doesnt contain the 8fc8 hex

the two spots i circled are where the two chips come from

                      So, i come bearing news.

it was in fact there, the 8fc8 patcher did its job. I promptly wiped the chip, flashed the unlocked bios, verified ic integrity, aaaaand it's dead.
On the first boot it was spinning the fans top speed and after a minute or so it died, now is not responsive.

Now i assume me taking out chips left and right, heating up the bloody thing may or may not have something to do with it being bricked now. Still this was a learning experience and i do feel i learned a lot. Even if i have nothing to show for it.
i did try reseating all the chips i vandalised but still shows no signs of life.

Dell Latitude E7270 - Requesting BIOS clean/corrupt? service tag CB00KC2
                        by TripTop
                        Hi

i have dell latitude E7270 with following symptoms:
                        - takes long time to restart.
                        - sometimes powers on and then off
                        - sometimes while working it just dies,

From googling online bios clean could possible resolve this?

i was able to save bios and was going to try bios clean myself but get an below error when i drop it in ME analyzer.(unsure whether this sometimes occurs or could be due to bad/corrupt bios)

As ME analyzer gave me an error i just decided to write bios with a cleaned bios from E7270 bios post.
                        I reinstall...

                        Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                        🧩 Initial Issue
                        • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                        • External display (HDMI) shows
                        ...

3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"

I try plugging charger while pressing ctrl+esc, machine turns on, nothing and after 20 seconds it gives 3 amber 3 white blinks again.

Dell Latitude 5400 Chromebook UEFI bios
                        by jhanra
Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.

so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…...
