Hello guys. New here. First I wanna thank everyone, seems like a great helpful community!

So I am having an issue with my Legion Y540-15IRH Laptop - 81SX laptop exactly as described by most. Bricked the bios, downgraded to a version that leaves me with a black screen, keyboard lights up for a couple of seconds, logo and fans on. I made the mistake of installing a bhcn21ww I found online through windows, and unfortunately didn't create a dump file or referenced my s/n mtm, etc I am only learning about all that.
I currently don't have access to another computer to follow all the steps to hex edit the values needed. Could somebody PLEASE help me with this to install either BHCN44WW.bin or BHCN45WW.bin?

... I currently only have access to a raspberry pi 3b to do this, was thinking about doing it with flashrom, all new to me. Has anyone done this before for this bios and laptop?
                  P. S. The reason I mentioned BHCN44WW.bin is because I used to have BHCN45WW.bin and decided to downgrade because the swappable graphics option was no longer showing in my bios. Probably I do have a hardware problem with my graphic cards but at least the laptop was generally working (with artifacts) before I bricked it by flashing an old bios found online.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I managed to flash the bios, but like I stated, I am using a raspberry pi with raspbian and can't access a windows computer to follow all the steps and edit the values required for my specific bios, which is why I was requesting help with the edit and supply of the customized bios with values I provided. I flashed anyway with the bios in post #10 and could unbrick it but now it says invalid mtm and sn, no dpk... If anyone can still help out providing the edited file for me, I would greatly appreciate it. Again:

for DMI information transfer...you can find the DMI interval at post #10
the bios from post # 10 is virgin, use the HxD program (it's free on the internet), enter both bios into the program (your laptop and the virgin one),
select that interval mentioned in both bios, copy the interval in your bios and pass it to the virgin bios (copy - paste)....and that's it...

If you have made a backup of the corrupt BIOS before flashing the new one, you can attach it here to extract the DMI data (it's encrypted/obfuscated on this model, see posts above), otherwise you can use Golden Key bootable USB to fill model name, serial, MTM

Just writing to inform I managed to fix the bios. I understood what needed to be done thanks to post #10 and #32 but the reason I was asking for help was because I had flashed before without backing up and my tools at disposal was a raspberry pi, which limited my capacity to copy the segments of bios needed as I didn't have a full understanding of this process in linux and found it very difficult to fix the file by myself. Nevertheless I figured it out with chatgpt, using FlashRom and jumper wires. Thanks.

Make a good verified backup then flash the virgin bios from post 10 or this post - https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...34#post3746434

Attached is a macro script that can copy the DMI (serial number etc) from your backup to the new bios, read the README.txt file how to use it.

You made 2 backups, they are both different and very corrupted. You can use this bios https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...34#post3746434 and change the DMI to yours with the U1 tool https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...27#post3750927

                                            Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
                                            Initial Findings:
                                            • My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
                                            • I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
                                            • I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
                                            Troubleshooting Steps & Conclusions:
                                            • I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.

                                            Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

                                            Hello there.

I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.

                                            History:

                                            1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.

I searched for this error online and discovered...

                                            Hello everyone,

I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.

This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.

I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...

                                            Dear all,

I have recently fixed a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 ALC6 that was not booting due to a BIOS issue. After flashing the BIOS, the laptop boots up, but hard disk is not recognized in BIOS. Is says "Hard Disk : Not Installed". I have tried with 2 different drives (one that I know is working on another laptop) but I get the same result. I do not know if disks were recognized before I got the laptop and fix it, but I don't see any reason why not. I can boot on USB though.

Here the steps I have taken to fix the laptop:
                                            - downloaded latest BIOS from Lenovo Website...
