I have 3 chips on the board

On back: MX25V8035F - This one has 1MB
On Back: 25Q128JV - This one Looks empty
On Front: 25q256JVEN - This one has 32MB

I have added the 1MB file

Thanks, but now the laptop is not starting up. Capslock and numlock are flashing. What can i try next?

Need some help getting passed Endpoint Security Controller problem. I think I lost the original bios or mislabelled it. Been trying to use some other saved bios with the 18EA048-190FFFF-25FB8.mps script to clean the ME but I get 5 caps lock.

Hello, I received an 850 G7 computer that looked like a prototype, it had no serial number or any information in the BIOS. I tried multiple BIOSes from the forum and with these BIOSes I attached, the computer boots, but it takes a very long time and runs very slowly, just at startup it takes almost 1 minute and 40 seconds. Can this be fixed? As I mentioned, there is no DMI data for the computer because the BIOSes were empty. Thank you very much.

It isn`t empty, use RCUnlocker on that backup

SMDFleaI did it and it worked — the password is removed.
But after that I get the Endpoint Security Controller problem. I tried to fix that as well, but every time the BIOS doesn’t work.
I followed the other post, but I didn’t get the last step.

Do you mean you used the endpoint script ? ,if you did then cleaning the ME firmware would be the next thing to try

No, when I turn on the laptop, I get the message: HP Endpoint Security Controller problem.
After pressing Enter, the laptop just starts up without problems. I have zero experience cleaning the ME firmware. Is there a place that can help me with that?

I used RCUnlocker on the 16MB chip. It did not report any errors. I program the IC and now it won't boot. 7 Flashes Capslock & Numlock. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1) open Original File with HP DMI Editor to GET DMI Data
2) Press OK to patch your dump
3) flash patched File
4) first boot will delay few Minutes
5) Very Important Step go to Bios and reset to factory default
(FIRST MAIN PAGE TAB)
6) restart and eneter bios
7)password cleared successfully
8) Write Original DMI DATA Back

Thank you for that. I did check my solder and it is fine. I did not even remove the chip as there are solder pads all around it. I don't see any bridges or missing connections. The resistors all seem to be intact. I even did a read after the write and compared them with no issues. Are there any other suggestions?

Be careful, you may have lost a resistor or capacitor near the bios chip.

OK - I double checked again and I did not see any resistors missing. So, I erased the chip and programmed my original backup. Now the machine is back to normal operation with a BIOS password. So, obviously nothing wrong with my soldering. Also, I did a read on the "unlocked BIOS" before erasing it and compared it to the read that I had taken just after writing the "unlocked BIOS" and found they are now different. Powering it up must have changed the contents.

Do I need to do something with the main BIOS as well to remove the BIOS password?
