Most probably (not to say for sure!) you just programmed one of the chips (or both) wrongly, that's why I always said - use verification, then read the chip again after programming, and then compare content of the chip with the initial file right after that, just to be on a safe side! Simple five minutes job can save you from troubles, but nobody listen. The files from the begining of the thread are perfectly fine, you just chose to make your day difficult, because you are too much in a hurry. That's why five minutes job takes you whole day, along with several hours of my time. I totally agree, sometimes things happen like that despite we are used to doing this work throughout the week, my problem was all simply frowned upon on the motherboard .... yes we are always learning new things ... nice to talk to you sir and thank you again

Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...04-23-2025, 04:30 PM -
Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅... -
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

but they are not the same size as the one saved feom the bios chip.
or if their is a way to make the one from dell's website work when programed to bios chip.
