asus vivobook x512 problem
hi everyone
I am repairing an asus viobook x512 which has a startup problem, I noticed that the laptop receives the voltage from the charger because it has 3.3v and 5v and that the CPU has a normal heat, the bios also has the necessary voltage, but I noticed when I put 19v from power supply, before pressing power button I have a consumption of 500ma,
if anyone has a solution or a scematic I would be grateful

yes maybe, I don't have the schematics, but on the boardview it is marked R106 with a value of 20ohm, effectively now I have 25v on ACDRV, 6v on REGN. the battery charges correctly, so I mark it as problem solved, thank you very much

I checked VCC pin (PQ24780) it is not present 0v, so I was going to check its path it comes from the power resistor PR16 which cracked(i dont now how, after change it I have now all the voltage on the IC charger

hi mon2 sorry yesterday I couldn't finish the work we started, indeed you were right the transistor PQ17 receives a voltage of 9v on its gate and this short circuit with the ground and ACDET, so I removed the transistor and there I have 2.6v on ACDET, but still ACDRV low (18.75v) and ACOK 0v...

voltage on pr31 is 19.27v coming from adapter, the other side is 0v
I can confirm that all connections are correct and checked....

tanks mon2, and I hope everything is going well for you
so the voltages I gave are without battery, and I changed the charger ic with another one that works on another board, same result...

Re: lenovo nm-c171 no power
hello, I noticed that laptop it works with battery not with adapter but if I connect battery and adapter it doesn't work I noticed that the outputs +3VS_SW and +5VS_SW are missing with adapter in.
