    Respect rules please

I found this in bios update but not sure if it works

Thanks a lot, my friend. I'll try it and let you know if it works. Sorry about the rules, I'll keep them in mind for future occasions.
    Thanks.

this one works well and easy trick for me on lenovo v15 ada if you experience black screen issue or facing obstacles loading defualt bios keys heres the only method that works perfectly on semibricked bios not yet tested on bricked bios .
            1. download https://www.badcaps.net/filedata/fetch?id=3647825
            2. extract file
            3. name the extracted bin file E8Crisis.bin
            4. drop the file named E8Crisis.bin on fat32 usb drive formatted mbr or gpt try both for most laptops start with mbr format then try gpt
            5. turn off laptop
            6. unplug charger
            7. insert usb
            8. press and hold Fn+R
            9. plug charger while holding Fn+R a red light should start blinking on the left side of the laptop
            10. while holding Fn+R press power button to turn on the laptop
11.if everything goes as instructed your screen will go back and a bios flashing process will show up on it
            12. release Fn+R wait a few minutes for the process to end and pc will go back to normal
            13. once done and booted to windows install the latest bios available on lenovo website
14 load default setting in bios

thanks to gandz1234 for bin file im thankful people like you exist for real man

I have found Password string in binary file (offset 0x00310529) and set to 0x00 somme bytes inspired by another patch I found on the site but it didn't change anything. In the example I found there were two Passwords to patch, for me only once.

The rules override what you think is right. We can copy text easily, why should we who are giving help have to look at a picture and type it ourselves. Very often the pictures that are posted are too small, rotated 90 degress left or righ, upside down or blurry. In such cases rather than being worth a thousand words it doesn`t mean anything and wastes our time.

There`s a number of reasons why we ask for the serial number -

We can find the bios/update at the manufacturers support site.
We can check the laptop model type (lenovo) or configuration (Dell)
We can check if the posted serial number which is usually on the sticker matches with the serial number in the bios, or EC.
Asking for the serial number might put off some from posting at all if the machine is stolen.
We can check if the bios has already been posted by someone else, or by the same member using a different account asking for the same bios to try and get help quicker.

                                            Hello.

                                            I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14ADA05 that it dosen't turn on.

It takes 0.027A and the power button flashing.

All the voltages on the board are ok. 3.3, 5 etc.

Also is charging the buttery .

                                            What else i can check?

                                            IdeaPad 1-14ADA05 Laptop - (Type 82GW) bios

First off, I saw the other thread, but that seems to be a different version (same model though), because I tried all of the linked bioses and none work. They actually cause the laptop to do nothing. At least when I use the bad bios, lights come on. (charging light, power button light, and caps lock light), but no screen.

Another thing is that the bios has a different name (Old thread has "e8cn36ww" and mine is "fqcn31ww") and the BIN in this thread (below) are 8mb, and the CAP file that I get is 16mb (after using innextract 1.9). I don't know how to get the BIN...

                                            Model: Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14ADA05 81W0
                                            S/N: PF2BZS7D

I was having issues with this particular laptop where the NVME SSD would disappear and would not detect unless I took it out and reconnected it, then it would detect for only for a minute then disappear from BIOS. I figured updating the BIOS was worth a try so I booted into my HBCD USB and downloaded the latest BIOS file for that exact model. I ran the executable and everything went smooth, it beeped and then when it restarted, now it won't post, just black screen with fan spinning.

                                            I already have a CH341A programmer...

Laptop freezes, sometimes no picture. POST every time with 4GB additional memory but still freezes in the windows.
SSD and BIOS seems to be OK.
                                            Thank you....
