Hello, I have Lenovo Thinkpad T14s GEN 4 serial number GM-0FK2ER laptop. It was brought to me by a customer to reinstall windows. The problem is it is locked with a superviser password. Can anyone please give instructions on how to reset the bios or bypass the supervisor password? Thank you. -
I have a laptop that was purchased second-hand, and I am able to boot Windows on and extract the BIOS dump (ONLY the BIOS region, I was unable to dump anything else due to an FCERR I received trying to dump the other regions) and use normally. However, because the BIOS is locked with a supervisor password, I am unable to use anything else except for Windows, and it has also disabled some hardware features of the laptop itself, such as the fingerprinting module, etc. that I really do wish to use.
I have been digging around for nearly 2 weeks trying to find any mention of the same model... -

have a laptop here that has a supervisor Password (dump in Attachements).
Before i write the Serial NR.etc i wanted to say that strangely after flashing with 3 different Bios dumps and one from lenovos site
the laptop works but everytime it wants me to type a supervisor password i never set.
I thought the supervisor password is stuck in the ec bios but no it isn't either because after replacing the ec chip from one of another board it still has the supervisor password.
Anyway i wanted to ask what of the two chips is the ec bios because on the left... -
