Someone wrote here that patching was not doable on 32MB BIOS chip.
    I have a T14 gen 1, but it has a 16MB BIOS. Any chance?
I see some people that after trying the patch only got black screen. I don't want to risk, as the machine is usable. Although I could write the original file later if that happens.

Hi! I am excited to learn about these chips. Can someone tell me if one of these chips is the embedded controller with the supervisor password stored on it?

      This is on a NM-C801 motherboard from a T14 Gen 1 w/AMD Ryzen 7.
      ITE IT8300FN
      or
      ITE IT5261VG-256

      Thank you!

Has anyone read the EC IT8300 chip, from thinkpad T14 AMD, using RT809? Mine is giving an error and even with everything right, would there be any other modification on the board that I do to make the reading? I don't have vertyanov and I don't have svod.
Has anyone managed reading EC IT8300 on thinkpad T14 AMD, using RT809??

Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well.

I need your help, please. I'm trying to understand if it's possible to remove the supervisor password on a Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 (AMD version).

I've read several threads on the forum, but I couldn't figure out which method actually works for the T14 Gen 4 AMD. Some mention using a motherboard jumper, others talk about a special USB key, and I also saw something about using an SVOD4 device.

To keep it simple: Is it possible to remove the supervisor password on a T14 Gen 4 AMD?
If yes, what is the correct method to do it?

If needed, I can provide the required information such as BIOS details, dumps, etc.

Thanks in advance for your help!
