Hello. Can you help me? I have the Dell G3 3500 P89F002 notebook. It only shows video the first few times after resetting the bios. But it turns on and the video appears the same as the attached image, the fans are at maximum and when you click to enter the setup it restarts without video and the orange and 7 white LEDs (LCD) blink twice. I switched to the 8mb and 16mb bios from the last post by member "kostukas1985" and it worked but it keeps giving the Service Tag message.
My Service Tag is 3JWR8G3
Thanks.Attached Files2 PhotosComment

Hello. I added the service tag yes. But the following is happening, when I restart or turn it off and on again, it doesn't show video. 2 orange and 7 white flashes (LCD display). But I already got a new screen and it's still the same thing. To show video again, just reset the bios or force it to turn on and off about 5 or 7 times until it shows video. But if you turn it off or restart it, it has no image and the LEDs blink like I said.did you try to add service tag manually from bios setup ? if not than add your service tag in the bios setup problem should resolved

Can you tell me what it could be?

Hello, help motherboard: selek g3 mlk n18p 19795-1 when connecting, only the keyboard backlight turns on and it restarts. That's all it does without an image, without fans, it just cycles through the reboot, turning only the keyboard backlight on and off.

by zeniusHello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...-

by mikeybassHi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

by capoplaysHey everyone,
I recently bought a Dell G15 5515 with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and 3060 RTX. The BIOS chip on it was dead, and my hardware guy replaced the chip. After that, everything was working fine.
The BIOS is currently at version 1.22.1, and I wanted to update it. I downloaded the latest BIOS version from Dell Support using my ST: FQZMYJ3, but when I tried to run it, it says "unsupported system." I asked my tech guy what he did, and he said he took the chip from another board and flashed it onto mine.
When I check the BIOS using the F12 menu Flash...-

by Akhlz001Hi,
Could someone help trying to unlock this BIOS, seems that Dell have changed the layout of new Dell Pro 8FC8 bioses from checking HXD - 4000 bits do not need changing, only 2000. However after FF the section starting from '01000' upto 2000 bits and then soldering the chip back it seems that the microchip on the motherboard is recovering the bios back to original settings after first boot. Has anyone found a way to crack this extra layer of security Dell have implemented? Seems both HP and Dell have upped bios security to match Lenovo by implementing extra measures on a separate...-

by SathsulSo, i kinda spend significant ammount of the last couple of days trying to flash a new bios, and or unlocking the current bios password with little to no results.
The whole thing started with it being the 8fc8 bios, i found the tools to unlock that but i needed a bios dump. So i pursued that, im at a point where i dessoudered the chip, and succesfully soudered it to the ch341, dumped whatever was on it.
However, the tools supposed to unlock the 8fc8 say that there is no 8fc8 hex inside. And when i followed diffrent tutorials to just flash a new bios onto the chip i got stuck on the...-
