i can bypass t2 activationlock i enable the secureboot in t2 then you can boot from usb and instal mac os fresh

T2 is now crackable. This is old news. I can bypass any lock on T2 devices. Currently fighting M1 MacBooks now!

I wanted to update my old post in this threat.. I managed to take down MDM and Activation lock by editing the T2 chip rom.

No, what I meant was complete removal. with bypass which thats what I was doing before, after any update or formatting the drive, MDM comes back again.

Yes, it have to be the same model and everything. then change the serial number.

edit: I was see youtube and some say "Activation needs a valid serial in the T2 ROM and matching uuid, board id etc. This can brick your device."

You just put a random number. but do not change the whole serial number. for example, this is just an example of one I previously changed:

Old S/N: SC02XXC5XJG5J
New S/N: SCO2XSC4XJGS

I change the 5 for an S, or 0 for O, etc. maximun I change only 3. that should take care it. then apple server add that serial # to their global base.

Try not to be negative. what I told you is what I did. and the 9 macs I already unlocked are perfect with no issues. And as for the serial I post, that was not a real serial, it was an example. but if you want to follow my advice fine, otherwise is okay.

I know that changing 0 in C02 to O causes it to not activate (activation server cannot be reached). Same with changing 2 in C02 to 3. And probably by doing any other SN modification.

So either you did not tell some key detail or it's BS

C0 corresponds to manufacture location, several other codes exist
some are only used for iphones and ipad

Yes, that I know. The reason I have tried to change C02 on T2 machines is because this method works on older machines. Changing from C02 to C03 removes MDM. But with T2 cloud lock, it doesn't let activate it. That was kind of expected but was worth a shot.
And that's why I know that 5chematic either left some details out or it's just BS.

The thing bothering me is that even when you take the ROM from a faulty but unlocked device, it still doesn't let it activate. So the ROM content is still somehow binded with hardware in some way.

as said above, I do not know, not had the opportunity to test the t2.Just curious

There would therefore be other information written elsewhere for verification that must correspond:
( Mac adress, chip ID or others) or maybe a mirror map hidden somewhere

therefore the replacement by full eprom t2 unlocked.
It's not good. the activation is not done?
