Re: Panasonic Toughbook CF-53 Mk3 BIOS Password Removal
I replaced the section that was mentioned here:
with FF and 00 as the person I was quoting described
but I think that may just blank out the BIOS password and not the power-on password (password prompt you get when powering on before you even get an option to go into the BIOS), hence why I was asking if anyone knew where to locate the user/power-on password in the dump
but I attached it anyway if you don't want to share your secretsComment

Re: Panasonic Toughbook CF-53 Mk3 BIOS Password Removal
I said BOTH dumps, to be able to look what you've done, and not storytelling and pictures again.
So I can be able to tell you where you're going wrong after you've failed already. That's what you want, isn't it?

Re: Panasonic touchbook cf-53 mk2/mk4
It turned out that the model is CF53-4, that's why I'm moving the comments to the "cf-53 mk2/mk4" thread.
Below is your unlocked dump, you can compare mine and yours in hex editor to see where you went wrong:Attached Files----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Re: Panasonic touchbook cf-53 mk2/mk4
Good afternoon. Help me remove BIOS passwords from two CF-53s. I have 6 of these laptops. Of 4, I was able to remove passwords myself
by changing the block at address AB0C7A - AEFFEF. But in 2 laptops this does not work. in the first case, BIOS number ACJ9TGRI12A
It just asks for a password again. In the second case, BIOS CF-532SLZLNM shows a black screen.
2 original dumps with corresponding names in the archive.Attached FilesComment

by AquaMan UaHello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...2 Photos

Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing hereπ€?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting π.

by stecosHi everyone!
I happened several times, in the search for help from the web, to consult this very interesting forum.
So I decided to sign up and I intend to participate actively by making available my knowledge and experience on the subject, I'm a new user but at the same time I'm old in the sense that I have 4 decades of experience in repairing and designing electronics but above all I'm a great passionate about the subject.
Having said that I come to the gist of my post on the forum as the title suggests.
