I have motherboard for T560 with bricked bios. The laptop turns on the screen with bios from hoaca388 from this post: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...ight=t560+bios
but the image is delayed by 15 seconds. There are no other errors.

Lenovo t560 lan fix after loaded bios
Hello
I have 3 t560 where I reloaded the bios ( Orig+$0AN1K00.rar , from here ) to recover from non booting or slow booting, al was fine and update-able but seems that with all of them has a intel lan adpater what is not able to start, new drivers or reinstall does not help.
tried to reflash the gbe file with original mac but that does not make the different.
Has anybody a tip what to do to get onboard lan working again ?

T560 bios needed!
Hi there, a corrupted BIOS image of my lenovo T560.
I am able to do a dump.
But how can I obtain a valid BIOS image for this machine?
I just wanted to change the wificard since then it doesn't boot no longer.
There is just the post screen then it goes to a boot loop.
I also have a dump from another board, so can I just replace the BIOS chip?
No passwords are set.

Put the old wifi card back in and it will boot.The wifi cards are whitelisted in the bios,only lenovo FRU approved cards will work unless the bios is modified to remove the whitelist.
There isn`t much bios modding at this site,if you want it modding try somewhere else such as bios-mods.com .I don`t know if it even possible or not,newer models are hard to mod afaik.

Unfortunately i did replace the old card and it goes into a boot loop - maybe i forgot to interrupt the power supply - is there a way to find out whats going wrong?
I do have 2 boards for t560 but both dont boot into post (board 1) and the other does the bootloop (board 2)?
Don't have this great experience to other then motherboard replacement.

didn't work, the same problem, the power boton blinking 3 times but no power on,
the 3.3v and 5v appear for few seconds and disapear

This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.
I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 3 for repair. (20LES3T900)
I looked in every corner and the laptop seems fine. Its pulling 500mA but no display, no noise, nothing.
So I assume its a BIOS issue. I downloaded the BIOS with CH341A and opened it on ME Analyser and didn't receive any errors.
Does this mean the BIOS is fine? making it a hardware issue?
I downloaded fresh BIIOS from the Lenovo site and used Hex Editor replace the Lenovo's BIOS into my BIOS region. But the file size ended up being... -

My daughter has accidentally managed to kill her Acer gaming desktop it has a blank screen after updating and when you press the power button the fans spin, light comes on and it makes 1 long and 1 short beep and no attempt to boot.
All basic troubleshooting has been done we replaced CPU, GPU and RAM from a working machine and no joy, I also noticed a post on here with the same issue and it was the BIOS. Hello everyone, I happen to have a Microsoft Surface Pro X 1876 in my hands. It was brought to me by a friends which happen to have taken off the bios chip to test another motherboard. Upon putting back the bios chip on the original motherboard, The PC is stucked on Windows logo and won t boot to bios or anything. I suspect that the changes of bios chip somehow corrupted the firmware inside. Is the hypothesis correct?

Hi all! I was reading on tutorials how to flash a bios to remove password from a bios, and I ended up reading the EC chip instead of the main bios chip, it only gave me a .bin file of 1,024kb, I learned later that that is the EC chip not the main bios chip (I should have read the tutorials here instead before attempting anything, my bad), I went to flash the original backup, the 1,024kb size file into the same chip and laptop is not powering up anymore.
