Hello, My lenovo x1 yoga gen5 laptop has been unstable and sometime freezes. After downgrading the bios i was normal for a moment but when back to being unstable.
If anyone has an working bios please share it.

X1 Yoga 5th Gen Laptop (ThinkPad) - Type 20UC

I'm stuck on trying to flash onto my new bios chip. I can read it check do check sum or what not, But the moment i try to flash onto it. The bios programmer freezes. I think the chip has write protection? How do i remove this protection?
I tried to do "Unprotect" But i doesn't change anything

Flashed it to the old chip and was able to write to it. But installing onto the motherboard no light or power. Just plugging in the power gives three flashes on the power LED but after that non anymore.

Laptop power up, but no video on screen, CapsLock no reaction to push.
All powers on board is up, battery charging normal work, power button reaction to ON/OFF.
I try flash another BIOS but motherboard not start .
RTC battery is OK.
Mainboard is clean, no water damage, no any physical damage.

It´s an Lenovo X1 Yoga Gen 5
Model: 20UC-S2CM0M
SN: PF-2W4AGH

Problem is that after i start the windows installation it goes immediately off.
Complete off.
Please check my bios.
I tried to flash the bios with new ME but i don´t succeed.
Maybe you guys can help.

Hello,

I have two laptops with the same problem. When I connect the charger, the charging light turns orange. When I connect the charger i get 3 white blinks from the power button, the fan starts spinning and then stops, and the screen stays black.

I have checked the voltage at the battery and it indicates that it is charging. I searched here and found that many people have the same problem.

I have read the BIOS from both laptops and will upload them here. I will try to flash the BIOS and then check for a hardware problem.

Does anyone have information about what the problem could be if it is a hardware issue?
