Need BIOS Dump/ROM for Lenovo Thinkstation p500

    Hello all,
I have a Lenovo Thinkstation P500 that is stuck at post with no display, it happened after I changed the memory timings in bios. I can not clear CMOS using the jumper on the motherboard, also tried re-flashing bios suing a USB stick but it also doesn't work. The only solution that I can think of right now is re-flashing the bios chip using an external programmer but the problem is that I don't have the bios dump of p500 for flashing externally and I don't know the location of bios chip. If someone can provide the bios dump and bios chip location it would be really helpful.

Here are the details of my machine (Lenovo Thinkstation P500)
    Processor: Intel Xeon E5-1650v3
    RAM: 2x8GB DDR4 2133MHz
    GPU: AMD R7 250 1GB
    Machine Type: 30A6
    S/N: PC0APW73
    Motherboard: Lenovo Scorpius rev. 1.0
    BIOS Version: A4KTACA

I don't have the backup bios file but I tried reading the bios chip using CH431 mini programmer, not sure if was a good read or not so I did it twice. Dumps attached (could not upload .bin so uploaded .zip containing two dumps).

          P. S. Suspected bios chip located (please confirm by looking into the dump contents), It's a MX25L12873F

Is there a way to reset/change the bios settings to default in the bios dump file and re-flash the dump with changed settings? Will it work?

I think it's some kind of script, I opened it with notepad and it looks like a script to me

I tried reading the bios chip again today (file attached) and guess what? The MD5 sums of this file doesn't match with the previous dump that I created yesterday and it is quite confusing for me. Am I not installing the adapter clip correctly or have the contents of chip changed overnight?

P.S. CR2032 coin cell battery is not installed in the motherboard.

bios changes each time you reboot or change settings. do not use the clip is the best solution

I tried comparing the both files and found out that some entries in Intel Image-->ME region-->MDES have changed (images attached). Is this normal?

P.S. MDES is ME debug event service.

How can I reset the setting that I made in the BIOS in this dump, I think I need to clear the NVRAM but I don't know how to. Can someone guide me on how to clear the NVRAM in a Lenovo BIOS?

Sorry for the late reply but I ended up replacing the NVRAM region of my BIOS dump from a fresh BIOS, re-flashed it and it worked. Thank you everyone, a special thanks to hoaca388.

TLDR: I would like to have the clean BIOS dump file for my laptop model.

Issue: First, my speaker wasn't working/showing up, so I downloaded the recommended BIOS update (from Jan 4, 2026) on Lenovo Support for my laptop.
