Flashed it to the old chip and was able to write to it. But installing onto the motherboard no light or power. Just plugging in the power gives three flashes on the power LED but after that non anymore. -
I'm stuck on trying to flash onto my new bios chip. I can read it check do check sum or what not, But the moment i try to flash onto it. The bios programmer freezes. I think the chip has write protection? How do i remove this protection?
I tried to do "Unprotect" But i doesn't change anything...Leave a comment:

Hello, My lenovo x1 yoga gen5 laptop has been unstable and sometime freezes. After downgrading the bios i was normal for a moment but when back to being unstable.
