Dell E5440 no display output on monitor and VGA BUT works on HDMI!

Hello!
I received s E5440 with small water damage, cleaned it with isopropelene and looks like new.
The problem is that there is no display on integrated screen neither on VGA output but works great through HDMI.
Any ideas?

Why not include the measurement on lvds/edp connector pins??

Sorry for the delay but had other important tasks to complete, now i have it back to the bench.
The voltages at JLVDS1 are:
pin2 3.3v
pin8 3.3v
pin9 13.5v
pin14 3.3v
pin35 3.3v
pin36 3.3v

Just to mention the specific laptop has integrated touch screen!

The area right under U38 and left of the connector JTP1

Did you checked RTD2136S requirements. If you have this controller, replace it if you dont want to troubleshoot.

did you try another screen, voltages on pins 12, 38, 39/40? did you measure pin 9/10/11 with power cable only connected? do you have no display ouput on internal screen at all? is bkl there? or no bkl, but picture?

No i haven't tried another screen
Voltages only on the pins i mention
All measurements only with power cable connected
No display at all, total black no picture (as far the touch glass allows me to see)

check for requirements for voltages on pin 38, 39/40

follow the circuits and measure the ics/smd components (reverse). check for enable signals/inputs and outputs

Cannot say without measurements but this controller often fails. So you can try replacing it.

Check all the resistors (resistance in ohms) and blackened caps.Ive highlighted the ones that look bad to me in the picture.Most of them might be ok if you touch them up with a bit of flux and solder

Cannot say without measurements but this controller often fails. So you can try replacing it.

Do you want to provide you some measurements to make sure it's faulty or not?
I don't have this controller and i must order it.
