Issues Reviving Old Dell 2408WFPb Monitor

    Hello everyone,

I have been having some difficulties reviving an old Dell 2408WFPb PC monitor that I received for free. When I first acquired it, the backlights of the display were on but alas no image was showing. After extensive research on the topic, I went ahead and purchased a new t-con board for the monitor. After installing the board, I was then presented with a new screen that was half black and half green (more so black). I have been unable to figure out what to do next as I have limited knowledge of display electronics. Might anyone on this forum have an idea of what may additionally be going on with the monitor? I am open to purchasing another board, if need be, so long as it would not cost more than purchasing a new monitor.

I have included several photos of the boards inside the monitor as well as the green and black screen.

Thank you very much for the help, and please let me know if I need to provide additional information.

Not really sure whats going on. For shits and giggles look that all the voltages are there (buck converters etc) on the main board and you can feed the monitor with a signal and look at the LVDS pairs with a 100MHz or better oscilloscope. Have something that changes pictures or make the OSD a come on and off all the time while probing. First you gotta be sure the main board is working.
