    DAG37AMB8D0 very interesting problem

    DAG37AMB8D0 rev: D
    notebook does not start
There is no 3.3v on the 8th pin of the bios, when I disassembled the bios integrated there was 3.3v. I wrote to another bios integrated, when I plug again, there is no voltage on the 8th leg. I deleted the software in the bios, reconnected it to the motherboard, there is 3.3v when there is no software.

can you post your scheme. some notebooks have dual bios. EC and MAIN. main biosa can be active after start.

I'm not happy to be so strong. because it's not humanly

Let's start over. Are the DC_IN entry mosfets intact? Does the charge control chip send 3v to the 97 pin of the IO chip? Are there ENBL and PWGD signals on Pu2001 pins 1 and 2?

          Re: DAG37AMB8D0 very interesting problem

          DC_IN mosfets OK
IO chip 97 at 3v OK
PU2001 EN and PWGD no signal
Interestingly at PU2002 no signal EN and PWGD but 5v LDO OK

PU2001 EN signal is OK when I remove the bios IC

S5_ON signal is output on IO chip pin 100 when I remove the bios

            but PU2001 PWGD no signal

              Re: DAG37AMB8D0 very interesting problem

In the scheme, when 3VLDO goes to IO, the power LED and EC_ON signal come to PU2001 with familiar information (AC_OK signal) from bios. ALW voltages are output. follow to steps
When S5_ON signal is output, does 3VALW come out from PU2001, 5VALW?

hi everyone i have same problem laptop not start .Ac led is on . in power buton 3.3v is ok
Pu2001 EN and PWGD no signal
Pu2002 EN and PWGD no signal

                Pu2001 Ldo is 3.3v
                Pu2002 ldo is 5v
                Can i help me ??
In R5131 on side is 3.3 v pcu and one side is 0 v to s5_on ? is ok the resistor is 10k and i measure is 9.9k

                  Yes, it is ok.

Remove all power (no battery / no adapter).

Meter in resistance mode (2k scale) - check the resistance to ground of each large coil (probably grey in color; red meter lead) to ground (black meter lead).

Checking for low resistance to ground which may be due to a shorted capacitor.

Do you have the schematic for this logic board ? If yes, post it for reference.

I did find the boardview file (only) for the same.

PQ1002 is p-channel what's the volt at his gate !
                        Pu 1001 voltages at pin : 5/6/16
