DELL Alienwere P48E LA-K472P, power rail error

I am working on "power rail error". No shorts, spill liquids, visible damages. Just a pure failure somwhere. So, where did I get to?
if you look at page 5, there is a power sequence diagram. All measurements up to sequence number 19 are ok. The process stops at sequence [B]20 [/B][B]PCH_THERMTRIP#. [/B]The PCH is separate and operates normally on power 3.3V ALW and 1.8V ALW. Where is the hack?

By the way TIP OF THE DAY

CHECK THE POWER SUPPLY FIRST

check adapter type, AD_ID

1.8V ..... DIS
1.26V .... UMA

I WAS FIXING THE BOARD FOR ABOUT TWO HOURS, THEN I REALIZED, I HAD A WRONG POWER SUPPLY

Hi everyone,

i have mainboard from GIGABYTE G5 GD gaming laptop. Power on, loading windows, everything looks OK then puf, FAN goes full, system turn off after 40 sec. (no normal shutdown). The same is in BIOS setup. No overheating detected. Finaly I found, that video card have no power. I found this faulty IC, very low impedance. So question is? What is that part, anybody knows maybe? Thank's

Yap you are good. I have board lt41-14271 YOGA with the same chip PIN 18, VERY LOW VOLTAGE (must be DCin adapter or battery). I found bad resistor (PR4437) 2.2 ohm.

Jig settings ITE: DAG77MB18C0 REV:C KB_pins=32 PD0=26 PD1=22 PD2=20 PD3=15 PD4=19 PD5=23 PD6=16 PD7=18 BUSY=29 STB=21 AFD=32 INIT=25 SLIN=24 KSI4=28 KSI5=27

My case. 19V yes, BQ OK, 3.3V yes, power button 3.3V yes, on press..nothing. No LED on power connector. Programing only main EEPROM, didn't resolve issue. After programming ITE, works OK....

The same problem. Logo and nothing else. I try to reprogramming BIOS chip few times with diferent dumps. Nothing. But. I found, that one of the C-USB didn't work, even power supply, so i found bricked chip TPS6987D, it was very hot, I replaced it, but the issue persist. Maybe PCH is bye bye. Any idea?

Hi,

Lenovo P50
MB: BP500, NM-A451, VER 1.0

Issue: won't start. Power LED turn on for 1 sec.
I check rails, they're all work a short time, looks fine. Only GPU reg. is silent. EN pin is 0V.
I didn't find any shorts corrosions, mechanical demages, etc. Any sugestion?

I hope the CPU is not dead

Also SUSP# = 0.Programing EC didn't help. CMOS battery reset solve the issue.
