    HP DV9000 in a restart loop

    Have an HP DV9000 that starts for about 25 seconds with no video, shuts down, then repeats the cycle until I hold the power button down and shut it off. BIOS? GPU?

    dv2000, dv6000, dv9000 all have bga problems with chipset/vga... reflow or reball to fix it

      Nvidia nvidia nvidia. Fix it and it breaks again. New chip or just scavenge it for parts, it's old enough already.

          It's old but my favorite, usually is also an easy fix.
