It might take people a bit of time to respond, unless its included in the standard bios package from toshiba it may not be easy to find and may take a while

Are you able to check voltages? Pin 20, 22,23 lvds connector? With laptop turned on. Carefully.
Fuse pf2 is connected to battery in your case, has nothing to do with blight.
                    Backlight is driven by pch.

                          EEEEEEEEE! Wrong ! DISPON_I pin 27.

if the screen was attempted to be replace with battery ON then it will cause a short to KBC : no backlight or full dead

swap the KBC NUVOTON NPCE791LA0DX and your good to go.
Just cook it! It's already broken.

Pin 27 is input from PCH, backlight is turned on by EC pin 6, does it require pin 27 from PCH to be high or not, that is a good question...

                              yes. DISPON_O - 3.3V, LVDS_ADJ - 0V-3.3V/3.3 is full light/

very common on this machine to fail the PCH , for video issues , loosing sound after a while , camera getting hot .. for my experience and for the incoming machines we've got per day , 80% of the l755 problems are related to pch

Just a simple question is the back light CCFL or LED?
If the back light is ccfl change the inverter.

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

                                    Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

                                    Hi all,

I need the BIOS (bin files) to re-flash the BIOS chips on a toshiba laptop.

Why I am pretty sure I need this to repair?

                                    1) Power supplies seem OK.

                                    2) Battery has been replaced, is charging well ... also not the CMOS battery CR2032, also not OK without RAM, or 1 or the 2 RAM modules (RAMS are OK).

                                    3) Laptop does really rare (seems random things) with the 3 leds (power, net, ...)

                                    4) In the past, when trying to restart 100 times via power button, it was sometimes succeeding, now no more.
