    MacBook A1708

hi all . I can't install the system. I've encountered this before, but I can't remember how to fix it! It cannot boot from an external drive (prohibition sign 🚫), but the firmware is not blocked! but it doesn’t connect to the server! The time is correct!

    Macbook A1708 820-00840 stays on 5V and doesn't turn on 20V
    by AlexVG
    Hi Everybody,
I have three 820-00840 main with almost the same problem. They all are breezed at 5V state.
There were other problems before i fixed them.
    So,
First of all, I used PCD3215A10 instead of CD3215C00, which I have bought on Aliexpress.
On the first board, I have mixed PCD3215A10 and CD3215C00.

in spite of I checked everything according Mon2 article https://logi.wiki/index.php/CD3215_Bootup_Sequence (Thank you)

First board has constantly pulsation between SMS and U3200 on the SMBUS_SMC_4_G3H_SCL and SMBUS_SMC_4_G3H_SDA lines....

Liquid damaged macbook A1466 fan spins, but doesn't turn on.
    by redbaron1007
I got a tricky one today in the form of a macbook air A1466 820-00165-A that will recognize the charger and turn the light green then back to orange and the fan will spin constantly, but the system won't power on. The screen never turns on, it doesn't make the bong noise it's supposed to, and pressing the power button doesn't do anything. When I took the board out to visibly inspect it I only found one spot of corrosion on the bios IC. I pulled the chip, cleaned it and the area with IPA and put fresh solder on both and put the bios chip back on, but when I went to test it again it still does the...

MacBook Pro A1708 820-00840 stuck @ 5V, no power, no charging
    by EpicFix
Hey guys, I need a little help here. I have a MacBook Pro A1708 820-00840 stuck @ 5V. Started off affecting just one port but now it's affecting both. Both CD3215 ics were replaced but the issue remains. One port does a loop and the other stays at a constant 5V. Both CD3215 have 3V incoming. I checked for PP3V3_G3H @ R3000, C3100 and C3108, R3001, C3200 and C3208. The weird thing is though that the ammeter shows the current draw (5V @ 0.5A) coming out from the port as opposed to it going in. Any ideas on helping me fix this?

Apple Macbook Pro A2338 EMC8162 lid sensor doesn't work
    by veedo
I have an Macbook Pro A2338 after small liquid damage, all working fine but keyboard was sticky so I have replaced palmrest for genuine second hand and now lid sensor doesn't recognize when I'm closing the lid. Display is always on, can't find sensor for that model, can someone explain my how does it work, where that flex is if there is any.

Maybe that the motherboard issue, not sure where to start.

    Thank You
