What is the voltage of SMC_RESET_L ? Do you have a green light on the magsafe connector? What is the voltage of PPBUS_G3H ?

                      Hi mon2

YES. I do have the green light on the charger.

                      PPBUS_G3H : 12.40 V.

I shall post SMC_RESET_L voltages shortly as there has been a power outage.

                      Regards

                          PPBUS_G3H : 12.40 V.
As per post #60. Should be ~12v6.

Flux and remove F7040 off the logic board. Do not lose it. Power up without F7040 so there is no consumer side loading on this power rail.

What is the voltage to ground on the ISL (producer) side of this PPBUS_G3H power rail?

Help repairing Yamaha RM1X synthesizer/groovebox - PCB trace for capacitor has been pulled off
                            by jshhh
                            Hi guys,

I've been trying to restore this Yamaha RM1X groove-box I bought, and the first thing on my agenda was to replace a bad capacitor that was making it so that the screen was super dim. As I'm a complete novice I went and accidentally pulled off one of the trace pads for the SMD capacitor as I was removing it, pulling up some of the green PCB with it. I've been trying to repair it by gluing down copper tape from where it began to pull off and solder the capacitor on after...atm I've just been attempting to do the same kind of thing on rubbish PCBs I got at a recycling place,...

Hantek 6022BE USB Port pulled out
                            by Vanillaboard
                            Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on a Hantek 6022BE where the USB port and vias have been ripped off the PCB. Here are the steps I've taken so far:
                            1. Power Supply: I've tapped the power supply next to the via from the tracer.
                            2. GND: I've successfully connected the GND as well.
                            3. Data Lines: I soldered the D+ and D- lines directly to the USB controller (CY7C68013A-100AXC) at pins 17 and 18.

Now I'm wondering if I need pull-up resistors. According to my observation, the tracer goes directly from D+ and D- to the USB Port. Could that be right?

                            Despite these steps,...

                            by bridges_4u
                            Hi,

I have got an 820-000165-A motherboard which has got a strange problem. I have 14.32 V at R7005. But when i check pin2 of D7005, it says 0.9V. The diode is OK. Tried changing U7090 too. Any clues?

                            820-3476-A Pulled resistor R8312
                            by Sepulmac
                            Hello everybody.

First comment that I am a computer technician, not an electronics specialist, but I do like it.

I tell you, by accident I have pulled the resistor R8312 and the GND pad of a motherboard 820-3476-A, the line is called DP_INT_ML_N <0> and it goes to pin 15 of the J8300 connector.

The screen works and I don't know if it can be without that resistance. I guess not, but ... is it possible?

                            Thank you.
