    11P06 - how to test

    Hello

I was hoping you can help me.

How could you tell if the 11P06 are good? http://www.alldatasheet.com/view.jsp?Searchword=11P06

Mine seem to be bad but at the same time I've bought 2 SH and they both have the same symptoms so I thought maybe I'm not checking them the right way.

    Thank you

Go to This link on bad caps forum A guide on how to troubleshoot 2 seconds to black
The list read how to test shorted transistors

Re: 11P06 - how to test

I've done all those test and my transistors/mosfets show no value at all. OL or like in my multimeter just stays 1.

Have still no idea if it works or not. There it says that it should show a value not lower than... Mine doesn't show any, meaning it's way higher, or something, I guess.

G to S should show as open circuit.
G to d should show as open circuit.

D to S should show as DIODE using DIODE Test mode on your meter.

Sorry for not replying faster. Was busy with some other stuff.
            FP19G+ is the model.

This is an image. Hope it's clear enough.
Did some tests today and it worked for half an hour before doing the same thing as before - couple of miliseconds to off completely.
Noticed that if I unplug one of the backlights it stays on. The moment I plug it back it's back - couple o miliseconds to black.
Next what I'm going to do is:
Desolder the mosfets and transistors and check them again like budm suggested.

If you have any better ideas will follow them gladly.

Now tested - with the three back lights plugged in I don't get any image.

                  You have some eyesight!

I noticed that there might be some' wrong since it was going to 0 in an instant, but everyone said they dont fail.
                  Will replace it tomorrow.

They don't normally fail but In the four years I have been repairing monitors I've only seen maybe three main caps fail.

I have actually seen the leakage but thought that it might be some rust on the leg.

Anyway, already bought the replacement and can't wait to get home and replace it.

Yay, after replacing that capacitor the monitor started working.

Haven't used for like 4 years and now compared to my main monitor it's so yellow.

Thank you all for your input and to you 1supertech for the idea with the capacitor.

How Can I test PWM DM0365R?
                          by chth96
                          Hello
I have power adaptor(220V/input, 12V 1.2A/output) which has symptom of fluctuating output DC voltage between 11.5V-12.2V.
So I opened its plastic case and when switched it on, I heard constant tik tik sound from inside its PCB.
I measured DC voltage between negative and positive pin of the largest capacitor(400v 10uf) and it was measured contant 300V.
I also measured ESR value of all capacitors and I noticed that one of capacitor(KMG 16v 470uf), which located in the secondary side, have high ESR value(10 ohm),So I replaced it with same specification NXH capacitor....

test active pfc power with lamp test
                          by khelane
                          Hello
I have a big problem and that is that in some cases when repairing active pfc power supplies I cannot work with a test lamp. I can only get help with 5 volts standby and for starting and starting I have to work without a lamp and this way there is a possibility of parts exploding and other parts being added.
Sometimes with a multimeter test the problems can be reduced to some extent, but I had several cases that had to be tested on and online and recently two varistors exploded. They had terrible resistance because the power supplies were over 800 watts.
                          Is there a way...

                          Hello.

GPU came in, green lines. Spent lots of time using to get the Mats / mods drive working (found on youtube).
Found issue with a RAM block
                          Replaced, green lines gone.
Trying to test again, assuming getting the false positive. Originally had over 1K on a single bank. Now getting tosses low between banks.
Used a good card to test and same results low errors 32+.

I am just search for some form of command to do a full test on the GPU.
I just ran the mats command with my good GPU and passed after roughly 40 min.
                          The repaired one, ran...

Lg TCon test pins for screen test
                          by alltvrepairs
                          Hi,
i have a 65 Panasonic TX-65HX710E using vestel 17MB170 main and Lg tcon.

Few drops of water fell probably near COF and have no display. Tried removing tabs but no.part of display present as if tcon fuse open. However 12v is present and tcon can be felt warm enough that supplies are present. Backlight and sound ok.

Anyone knows if this TCon 6870c-0805A has any special test pins for rgb test?

                          Appreciate your help....

Samsung LN40C630K1F LCD TV No Backlights and Flashlight Test Fail
                          by signal.quest
                          Hi all,

I have been working on a Samsung LN40C630K1F LCD TV. On power up the backlights only briefly light up when first powered on then they go out (2 seconds to black). The flashlight test also fails. The sound works fine. Please see attached pics.

I have researched the forums a lot. I have watched the videos of trying to locate the bad CCFL or transformer and bypassing. I can't find any evidence of a bad transformer/CCFL. I verified I get 376V from the big caps to the fuse. I have used a small/cheap oscilloscope and it looks like the MOSFETs on the inverter...
