Philips 200WP - random shutting down and "no video input" while PC is in sleep mode

Please, excuse me if my english is not very good.

My monitor has over 10000 hours of work. I use DVI port.

    Sympoms/Problem:

1/ randomly goes OFF while the PC is working.
2/ randomly getting "no video signal", while the PC is in sleep mode.

At first it started to go down once a day, and after pressing power button it continued normal functioning. Then the problem get bigger and it started doing it more often and starting it back was harder to achieve. At one point it became unusable.

So I opened it. There were 3 or 4 bulging caps - 1 on video board and others on the power board. I have changed them and I got an improvement, but still facing the symptoms. Changing 4 or 5 more caps, which were looking good, did not help a lot (well, maybe just a little bit).

Now it stops several times daily. Starts easy after a minute or two (but not immediately), sometimes even without touching any button. And I still get randomly "no video signal" while PC is in sleep mode.

    what else can I do?
    - Should I continue changing the other caps
    - look for the problem somewhere else
    - try with new DVI cable, or try using the VGA port and see if the problem stay
    - buy a new board and which one - video or power?

    I would appreciate any suggestions.

Now it won't start with pushing ON/OFF button after a failure, but with continuos holding up/down brightness buttons. If pressed just once I got only blue screen with logo for a second.

After serious buttons pushing in trying to start the monitor after last failure I got a new problem. I can not access the monitor settings anymore and power button is not responding. When I push some of the other buttons I got blue screen with logo and after that my desktop picture comes again.

I will make some pictures tomorrow.
btw at the moment all buttons, screen menus and settings are functioning normally again. So I can turn on/off from the power button, change brightness, colors etc.

            update:

Last night I put the PC in sleep mode. The Green led on Power button of the monitor turn Yellow as it should be. Then I pressed it again to turn it completely OFF and the led indication vanished. This morning I found it with "no video input" sign on the screen again. When I started PC, monitor awaked too.

today it is working smooth 4 hours already, without a blackout.

Have you changed anything on the pc recently - check the power settings and screen settings. Reseat the video card and the cables from pc to screen.

Nothing has been changed soon. When problems started, I unsealed and cleaned the videocard and unpluged all cables, then got everythin back. there was no improvement. Things were getting worse day by day till I changed the first 4 caps, which were visually bad.
But you are right that I must asure myself that problems are in the monitor.
I will try it on another PC and see if there will be any change. Today it is surprisingly working fine so far.

Last days the monitor is working for an hour or two (sometimes less), then it gets a blackout and after a minute I can start it again.
I am opening it again and I will take some photos.

Here is my standard instruction re photos
please post good clear pictures of the whole chassis, and then pictures of each board, front and back (in the same orientation) and close up of connectors, (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) using the manage attachments button, which is found by clicking "go advanced" under quick reply.

Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

I took some pictures, I hope that they are good enough.

I have changed with caps I have found in the nearest techshop. I am not sure what is their quality.
Red arrows (on the 2nd photo) are the caps which were bulged and I have changed them first. Yellow ones are the second change. And there are 5 left, which I have not changed.
Last 4 pics are with the bad caps, I have shot with my phone, before changing them.

more detailed view on the top of the power board.
maybe it will be easier for me to buy a new board, but I am not sure if the problem is there.

Pictures are quite good - thanks.
It is difficult trying to locate an intermittant fault.
I have marked some joints on the attached - can you check them -they may be ok they look a little odd - resolder any you think may be bad.
Generally we advise to resolder the joints on the inverter transformers and on the blue high voltage ceramic caps.
Following a recap a factory reset sometimes helps (if there is one in the menu)
I cant think of much else to try - perhaps check the ends of the bulbs and wiring fro blackening or arcing.
You could try warming parts of the boards with a hairdrier to see if you can get it to go black quicker. Then try and pinpoint the area where heating does this.

I thought that the key here maybe, is that it gets random "no video signal" when the monitor is OFF (PC is in sleep mode).

Could be- I never use sleep mode - is monitor set to "always on" as far as the pc is concerned.

I also forgot the picture (Again!!!)

i would replace the sm lytics on that logic board.
they are likely dried out with 10k hours on them.worse they are often in paralell with mlcc which give good in circut esr tests.
lastly is the old novatek issue.
i replaced a bunch of those chips when these were newer.must have been a bad batch.
would randomly go no signal and sleep.

Sometimes, stucks in a rebooting loop showing white led and video and audio signals, then fixed red light (stand by?) for some seconds, then red light goes off and white light come again with video and audio showing just fine. This rebooting stages, has random working times.

I do not have a schematic or board file

I usually let it go to sleep every time I use it because it is nearly always plugged in, with occasional shutdowns to reset things. Then it started to hard crash every time it tried to come out of sleep. The lights would come on for half a second but before anything shows on the screen they would all shut off and it would boot up as if I had shut it down completely (except that windows knows it didn't), and when it comes back on the fan ramps up to full and stays there perpetually...

Philips 43PUS7506/12 - Loud blown out sound
                                      by aidanmo
                                      Hello,

I've got a really strange issue with the speakers on my Philips 43PUS7506/12. It makes this awful loud buzzing now. It happened after it was attempted to be wall mounted - I think the back got squeezed and something broke.
I thought maybe the speakers got damaged, so I replaced them - no dice.
                                      • Using the internal speakers, it always happens.
                                      • Using the headphone jack, it never happens.
                                      • Using the digital/optical out with a soundbar - it happens after about 2h/movie runtime - it's never as drastic, it just pops in and out, but I didn't want it to damage the sound bar
