Well, unfortunately same failure come back after months of normal use. Tv try to start, flash lamps for less than a second and then, clicking noise for a couple of loops and red standby led again.
I will try changing every capacitor on the supply board.

Sorry for write on this old thread but recently I got an LG 50PK350 Plasma that I wanted to repair for few euros (Spain) and I can confirm about small capacitor. Hi to all! first post here, awesome forum. Greetings from Spain. I'm a electronic technician but I forgot many things because I was working in IT all my life :-)

I got a TV Philips 42PFL5603D/12 (chassis SQ522.2E LA) without remote control and no history to follow.
TV has random failures. Sometimes, stucks in a rebooting loop showing white led and video and audio signals, then fixed red light (stand by?) for some seconds, then red light goes off and white light come again with video and audio showing just fine. This rebooting stages, has random working times.

Hello guys, here another dealing with a blown IC501 (mps3378e) in a LG TV (49lh5100).
I'm attaching a pic of my main board.
It seems a typical failure of this chip.

If any had replace it, please comment experience. I will try to replace it without replacing nothing more to see if works....
