Re: Samsung 24" power supply BN44-00195A first stage voltage?
it was the glue! I removed the glue around the small cap next to the blown jumper and the leg of the cap was gone as well, 10 minutes of soldering and all is working well, I got this TV for free, and with the help I received here I now have my first flat screen!, thank you all so muchComment

Re: Samsung 24" power supply BN44-00195A first stage voltage?
Hey everyone. Kinda a noob at this, but it seems this is the exact same problem I'm having. http://postimg.org/image/5m4zlh9g7/
There is a pic. I've blown thru 2 power supplies and have another in the mail. (Thankfully a free return) is this the same problem? Should I remove the glue when the new one comes in?Comment

Re: Samsung 24" power supply BN44-00195A first stage voltage?
That is bad glue, it is in the high voltage section, must be removed, you should remove all the glue before the damages occur.Never stop learning

Re: Samsung 24" power supply BN44-00195A first stage voltage?
I checked the ICP801S and it really might be shorted. I think it would be better to replace the parts of the PFC:
ICP801S - FAN7530 ? (bad to read)
QP801S - FCPF11N60
DP802S - F10UP60S
QM802 - FQPF9N50C
QM803 - FQPF9N50C
Is it right?
I really hope that the psu will work after replacing these parts.
Otherwise - sh.. and thrown on the scrap heap.
Sorry i`ll write in German)))

Re: Samsung 24" power supply BN44-00195A first stage voltage?
Hi,
excuse my bad english. I also have a problem with my Samsung 245B Plus. The power supply board is the BN44-00195A.
The problem is Power LED on and often no picture. So I've already replaced the capacitors. Unfortunately, with no improvement. The next step i want to do is to remove the glue from the components. But it's not so easy. Do you have a hint how I can do it best?
The flashlight test I did and saw a picture. Furthermore, I have already measured from the power supply to the inverter 24V voltage. If a picture was there, i measured the 24V power. No picture, no voltage could measured there.
Which logical further proceed you would suggest. I am not a professional, but dare me to test the voltages at the power supply outputs with a multimeter. Unfortunately, I do not know where to start or what I may like to test. I'm hoping for a some hints.
Greetings from Germany

Re: Samsung 24" power supply BN44-00195A first stage voltage?
Hi - you will have to re think your pictures they only show a thumbnails.
Also they dont look very sharp but may be that is because they are thumbnails. Suggest you re-size the big ones to less than 2mb and add to
your post using EDIT - GO ADVANCED then MANAGE ATTACHMENTS.
Try just one or two and only post any that are in focus we need to be able to read the numbers on the boardLast edited by selldoor; 12-07-2013, 11:06 AM.Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: Samsung 24" power supply BN44-00195A first stage voltage?
Much better - thanks - there is a monster thread on this see here:
https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...ight=resistors
First steps for you are to remove the glue - not easy as you have found.
try and soften with isopropyl alcohol and scrape away - various tools have been tried
pointy plastic blades made from toothbrush handles dentists toothpicks.
You just have to take it slow an careful.
Second step is to replace the 3 82ohm resistors they are in a goup just below the BIG cap in your picture. Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by cheeky2This Samsung combined power supply and inverter was replaced a while ago from a Samsung 37inch LE37B530P7W TV. However I would like to repair this one.
I have replaced the Mosfets Q1820 and Q1821 ( FDPF7N50U) which were both blown and the fuse FM802S. The schematic for this power supply that is attached doesn't relate to this power supply as the driving transistors and diodes are D1830, D1831, D1832, D1833, Q1811 & Q1810 are nowhere on the schematic!
Does anyone know what the components for D1830, D1831, D1832, D1833, Q1811 & Q1810 should be? I ask as I did change the Mosfets... -
