Does anyone know of a good supplier for lamps for an old stereo?

I have an old Yamaha RX-360 receiver and the lamp is burned out. I have so far been unsuccessful in finding a replacement. I have tried Newark/element14 and Mouser but so far have not found it on their sites. Or ebay either.

I did find a service manual and it looks like the part number is:

You need to put up a picture of the old lamp - someone may recognise and be able to suggest a replacement.

No neither of those. Here is a pic. My apologies for not providing a pic to start with, I hoped the part number and stats would have been enough since the receiver was still plugged into everything

I looked at the GW-12 as well but couldnt see a physical size then realised we dont know what size the current bulb is?
Budm - the last bulb is 800ma - will that be too much?

He may have to settle with the 14V 80mA, not sure it will be bright enough for him, but not much choice out there.

Thank you very much for the links. At this point even a dim light would be better than nothing. At least I'll be able to tell if the thing is turned on or not

By the way, they often use 14V lamps with 12v feeding them so it will last longer. I still have a lot of stereo equipment from the 70's especially the YAMAHA and Marantz.

Well it sure does last. Have had it forever and the lamp is the only problem I have had with it. Looks like Panasonic caps in it.

If I recall someone replaced a lamp for me years ago, so still 2 lamps in all those years, probably 25 years, yeah I would say the lamps last pretty long

RadioShack has something similar rated 12V@25mA. It may not last as long, but if you know someone in Canada that lives near one, maybe they can purchase it and send it to you. I think they changed the name from RadioShack to "The Source/Circuit City"?

He can use high brightness LED with a diode and 500 Ohms resistor in series.

I went with this one from Mouser since I had to place a cap order there and I didn't want to pay $8 for shipping for one 50 cent lamp :-/

This is a 14V .1A so it was about the closest to the original lamp. It's supposedly rated for 50,000 hours, so I'll hope that I don't have to do this again anytime soon. I did buy a couple extra lamps though, just in case.

The one problem with it was it has bare leads, so I took some wire I had and pulled off part of the insulation tubing and fed the bare leads through a couple pieces of it (one lead through each piece of course).
