lol
it's called a ptc, it's used to power the degausing coil for a few seconds at power up.
after a few seconds the thing is so hot that the resistance increases & cuts power to the coil.
heres a tip - they do fail.
if you desolder one and it rattles - it's fucked.

Sometimes, spark gaps (SG) are called air gaps (AG).
Some may exist as exposed PCB traces.My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.
