I have a small switch that is connected to 2 fans the long wire from the switch is connected to the fan + wire, at that same exact point another wire is soldered which goes to the other fan + wire
So the 12v wire from the switch is split into 2 which connects to both fans
The ground is also done the same way
When i had it wired this way, both fans would work via the switch after disconnecting power and reconnecting the small 60mm fan would no longer work but the 80mm fan did, i replaced the 60mm fan and the same thing happened and neither will work
When i solder 2 different wires to the 12v switch and connect them to the fans, both fans work without fail
I am not sure exactly why this is occurring, the amperage requirements are slightly different for the fans
