Diode identification for data rescue

Heyo

I'm trying to perform data rescue on this drive and don't want to make a mistake. I've found a burned diode and a shorted capacitor right next to it. I've found a component on eBay that seems to match up. Can someone confirm please? Also I don't mind replacing it with a compatible component if it's easy to get hold of.

It's a TVS diode rated 13V, across the +12V power supply rail
Can be temporarily removed for data recovery as long as your PSU is working properly on the 12V rail, for long term use I would replace it with a similar diode from another dead HDD
Common failure when a bad PSU delivers over voltage on that rail

Also measure across both 0 ohm resistors

You can use an SMBJ12A or SMCJ12A, depending on the dimensions. The capacitor should be OK -- the shorted diode is making it look bad.

It’s just a TVS over volt protection diode. It’s not really needed if you have a good PSU, just for data recovery.

It is a TB13A_V714, TBxxx_Vxxx - TFMBJ13A or SMBJ13A (TRANSIENT VOLTAGE SUPPRESSOR)

Removing the diode kicked the disk alive and the data is safe now. Brilliant. Thank you all so much for the tips
