Z690P WIFI D4 need to split BIOS file
This motherboard has the unfortunate thing where it splits the Bios file into one 16 Mb part and 8 Mb backup and I still don't know how to perform the split.
I don't know if the procedure is specific to this board or if there is a general rule on how to do this. I would appreciate if someone could do it for me. Thanks

Hey guys!
I think my BIOS is corrupted. I tried installing a BIOS that I found on Badcaps for this motherboard but it didn't boot. I think I need for my specific model.
Specs
HP 15-ab112no
DA0X21MB6D0 Rev D.
Serial: 5CD54023WL
I'll also post what I think might be my corrupted BIOS.
Thanks

Replace mosfet AONH36334 with AONS36316 ?
I have water damage on this HP board and found another HP board with a similar mosfet.
The big difference I can find on the datasheet is that one is a "30V Dual Asymmetric N-Channel MOSFET" and the other is a "30V N-Channel MOSFET"
I'll Link the datasheets
https://www.aosmd.com/sites/default/.../AONH36334.pdf
https://www.aosmd.com/sites/default/.../AONS36316.pdf
I could just try it but I'm worried that I might blow other components.
Anyone have any insight as to whether it's safe... -
Diode identification for data rescue
Heyo
I'm trying to perform data rescue on this drive and don't want to make a mistake. I've found a burned diode and a shorted capacitor right next to it. I've found a component on eBay that seems to match up. Can someone confirm please? Also I don't mind replacing it with a compatible component if it's easy to get hold of.
