Re: lg psu
Its probably so you get the correct physical size - they may have those values
in several sizes. Have you looked at cpc - they have free delivery on internet orders - no min order.
Why have you started a second thread??Last edited by selldoor; 02-18-2014, 02:43 PM.Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: lg psu
tony post up the height and width of the caps that you need then you can see whats suggested with low esr etc you need 3300uf 16 volt and 3300uf 63 volt its ok found the size from the pm the ones in psu r 25mm high and 15mm wide
maybe EEUFR1C332S for the 16 volt ones
whats the measurements of the 3300uf 63 volt on your boardLast edited by vinceroger69; 02-18-2014, 03:46 PM.Comment

Re: lg psu
OK Vince - probably also need to ask if they are snapin or leaded unless you know? cpc dont appear to have any that value that size.
Well it helps when you have the right values ehLast edited by selldoor; 02-18-2014, 04:19 PM.Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

by Oldschool297I found these, i would only like to try them on a board to see if it post. It don't post at the moment, i guess there are 9 6.3v 3300uf that can be broken. Is these low or high esr? I did not find info on the web.

by SatdudeHey guys, I have a question. I need to replace the caps on my og Xbox motherboard, but I can't buy quality capacitors in my country with this specification (everything is either out of stock, with a minimum order of 1000 or just plain too big to fit in the Xbox). Can I replace the 5 3300uF caps with 5 Panasonic 2700uF caps? Thanks

by EFritz20Hello everyone,
I have a few busted Rubycons MBZ 3300uf 6.3v that are used for VRM purposes on a socket A motherboard. According to spec 12 mOhm with 2800 ripple.
I have used the search engine and it appears the Panasonics are the ones to get, but those are topics already years old and these electronic ultra low ESR caps aren't availably anymore.
I can't seem to find any available caps on the known sites that are in spec of these Rubycons. Also i can't find Polymers with 3300uf or even close to that. Closest ones i found where 2000/2200uf ones but...-

by EFritz20Hi all,
For polymodding an original Xbox i'm looking for polymer replacements of the following capacitor:
2x 10v 3300uf Nichicon PW
One is on the left side of the board, the other one on the right as you can see the picture i linked below (the two big brown caps).
Could i just use 2200uf polymers to replace them or do i really need the capacitance?
I have searched the forum already but could not find an answer for it.
Thanks.... -
by xnRSI got an old AM2 board with 3300uf 6.3v badcaps(all). So I want to change them with poly ones. Can you give me advice which capacity should I use ? I saw on one russian forum(rom.by) that capacity of poly should be around third of current leaky caps, but I'm not sure.
