The truth that is worth it a multimeter like that, the things are very easy with. With the program I have managed to do things and the truth works enough good in Windows.

The AA rechargeable is only putting out 1.2V, so I am not sure if it will run properly at 4.8V instead of 6V, you need to look at the manual to see if it will give the info. of the cutoff Voltage for this meter. You can also try and see.
